Im aware that question may have come across a bit childish but I feel insecure in my looks. I was a chubby child and was into my first year of college. I didn’t get asked out until I was around 16. And the guys that showed “interest” were not my type. Who seemed interested in me was not what I was looking for physically. I have lost eighty pounds since and am moderately thick. I have curly hair, pale skin, slim stomach and thick (big) legs. While I went down a few dress sizes, I have thick thighs as I previously mentioned and could afford to tone up. However, I don’t get much attention from men. And when I do, they’re not my type. On dating apps is where I get attention from guys, at least the ones I find attractive. And when they do message me, it seems brief and shallow. Compared to the friends I’ve known that seem to have suitors, I feel I don’t measure up. People say I’m attractive and these friends of mine that get attention are somewhat average. I don’t know who’s lying. Even with my weight loss I feel invisible. People tell me that men look at me and I do not notice any attention. Others have said that guys complimented my looks behind my back and I feel they’re lying because these same guys in person did not convey their interest.

I'm not comfortable with my legs as I grew up in a conservative family where wearing even a tank top would be too provocative.
This summer I tried new things and so wanted to try a day out with a dress... bitch... Hurts like a bitch. My thighs burned, turned red and stayed that way for a couple days after that even when I was wearing jeans.
Do MOST girls really not experience this or does everyone have a secret cause I see girls with thick thighs wearing shorts and their thighs touch without turning red whilst I was walking like a freaking gorilla at the end of that single day to make sure my thighs won't touch.
