We were in a group walk, met her there - I think I spoke to her once before as she asked me questions about how a walk I did was when she she was on another and the 2 walls merged at the end. But on this walk, we had a brief chat and I decided to split off and go with a few other people. I said to her that’s the official walk and gestured to her to go join them and someone else did as well. Then she said “you’re joining the official walk right?” And I said “no, I’m breaking off with these guys” and she followed me. But I thought it was just because it was easier for her as she was closer to us.

I saw a post from a girl who had what she called a fuck buddy for the past 5 months. She had developed feelings for her partner but she had never expressed those feelings to him and she was reluctant to do so. That struck me as quite odd.

1. She can take off her clothes and let him see every square inch of her naked body but she can't tell him how she feels.

2. It is possible that he has feelings for her but is also reluctant to express them. So, if neither of them is willing to discuss this. . . they would rather let the opportunity for a relationship pass than face the possibility of being rejected. I've never heard of anyone dying due to being rejected by a member of the opposite sex!

For you guys, texting seems to be the norm for asking a girl for a date or for breaking up. You go out on a date and you spend your time texting other people. And you wonder why you don't feel connected! You are afraid to take a chance and have somebody say - to your face - "Thanks, but I'm not interested in going out with you." I have asked girls for a date and heard excuses, lies, and outright rejections. I just moved on to the next potential romantic interest. It's really not a big deal!

So. . . how do YOU feel about telling someone, "I really like you and I'd like to spend more time with you"? If you love someone, or even if you just seriously like them, you shouldn't show it: true or false?

So I live in a bad area and there's been a lot of break ins happening lately. I already have a home security system and have a home defense shotgun including a couple handguns and I carry on everywhere I go (I have a CCL). But last week a woman in my town was gang r@aped while her husband was at work by a group of men who broke into her home. Now that about game me an anxiety attack and became worried by the thought of something like this happening to me or someone I loved. So if I get a girlfriend and she moved in with me I want to teach her that if I'm not home and you hear the alarm go off or hear someone breaking in, I want her to run to the bedroom bath and lock herself in and take the shotgun off the door mount and call 911 (I'm looking into getting a telephone installed in my bathroom), I'd also like to take her to the range to teach her how to properly use the shotgun too. If your guy did this would you at least take it seriously?
