Bigotry vs Discrimination:
Bigotry is when people hate you just for existing, based on your race, sex, sexuality, etc. While Discrimination is when people hate you for what they think you'll do to them or what they assume about you, often out of fear.

Meaning, discrimination is more "justified," but also easier to fix.

While few people hate black women, they are ignored in many ways unfortunately. Have you noticed that there is very few fully black women to star in movies?
I believe their are 3 main reasons for this:
1. Beauty Standards: In America many African features of certain African ethnicity’s are not as attractive, unfortunately. And while looks shouldn’t matter, they do, especially with women.
2. Perception of bad attitude: Black women in America are stereotyped as having a sassy and hot tempered attitude. While this may be true for some, there is plenty of black women without this, even in ghetto areas.
3. Masculine stereotypes among black people: America likes to stereotype black people with traits that are associated with hyper-masculinity. While a lot of these stereotypes may seem positive, I believe they are negatively affecting the perception of black women, and making them appear more unattractive.
I do not believe many people who ignore black women realize that they are part of it, and that is part of the problem. To help reduce this kind of discrimination we must introspect. And if we do not talk about it the problem will not go away. Most see at as, “I don’t hate them, and I like some black women, so I am not part of the problem” but the reality is, most people say this, so clearly more thought has to be done in order to help the situation.
Point is, fully black women are often treated differently than women of other races, they often don’t have as much of a feminine perception, so it alters how they are treated.

Standardized tests are supposedly racist because blacks get the worst scores, followed by Hispanics, followed by American Indians, followed by whites. What the people who hate standards can’t explain is why Asians get the best scores.

Nothing daunted, the Teaches College Press of Columbia University insists that “Dismantling White Supremacy Includes Ending Racist Tests like the SAT and ACT.”

The SAT was started in 1926 to set objective standards and eliminate unfair, subjective evaluation. It’s got to go because colleges *want* to make unfair, subjective evaluations of students – in the name of diversity. That’s why more than 1,000 colleges, including the entire University of California system have either ditched standardized tests or made them optional. Diversity comes first.

Particularly, as it pertains to mask or vaccine mandates/coecion. Coercion meaning any form of discrimination, fines, segregation, denial of service, etc. A lot of governments, corporations, and schools seem to think that is the case. I know that these are hot button issues for a lot of people, so keep comments civil and respectful!
