I have 2 Facebook accounts, and yes he's on both of them. Please read before you assume things. I used to be super active in online chatrooms so I decided to make 2 Facebooks, one for my online friends, and one for my family friends. No I'm not hiding anything, I just like my privacy. When it comes to online people you can't trust everyone, I've had a guy try to track me down before and that's the main reason of my paranoia. And hence why I have two accounts. My boyfriend can't seem to respect my privacy. He tags me in everything. I understand he just wants to show me off but you dont need to put it on public. I asked him over and over to switch it to only friends can view and he refuses. Once he tagged both of my Facebook and I warned him if he does it again I'm going to have to block him. The funny thing is, he's always wondering "how do they know this or that?" And I tell him cause you put your shit on public and he still refuses to private it. He said he'll protect me if anything happens, he lives 2Hrs away 🙄. Honestly I think he wants his ex girlfriends to see it, he won't own up to it and it's ok but i just want him to really respect my privacy and he dont seem to care. Do you think I should just block him on one of my facebook page?

I met my boyfriend at a language exchange social in August 2019 and we had a long, intense, online romance for about a month before I let him meet with me again. Once we started meeting in October, the chemistry was so strong that we were officially girlfriend/boyfriend by the end of the month. I had never had a boyfriend before this-- I am extremely picky and believe that the person I am dating should be a person I could see myself marrying. This makes it extremely complicated especially in the beginning of a relationship, when you cannot predict the future and it comes to mind vs. heart and reason vs. passion. I know one cannot predict the future, but I want there to be at least a vision of the future on the horizon.

This is when I get doubts. He will say things like "we will have two weddings, one here and one in Saudi" but if I joke about it he is serious and becomes distant. He met my family and close friends, he tells me that he talks to his close friends about me (I facetimed one of his best friends back home, and one time he said his mom told him to said hi to me). I truly believe he loves me with all his heart. But he's practical, and I'm afraid that while he does love me, he will return to Saudi and break up with me because of our cultural differences.

At moments it seems we are polar opposites. Even our language reads in opposite directions-- left to right and right to left. I feel like we are the positive and negative space in artwork, severely juxtaposing each other but can only exist from this juxtaposition.

I feel like no one understands this situation. Please give me advice and a different perspective—am I naive to think this relationship could work?

Her: grew up in a middle/upper middle class family And always had a taste for luxury life: since she was young she went on holidays in glamorous places (her parents gave her the money for it) and has rich friends. Has a passion for fashion, wanted to become a model/ it girl but didn’t manage to and is now working in a not well remunerated and not very ambitious position in the fashion industry. Currently still partly relies on parents financial support.
Him: comes from a very rich family, has founded his own company a few years ago, which is increasingly successful and will probably earn him some good money in addition to his family piles of gold. Family even if rich doesn’t have a very glamorous lifestyle, mom and dad are rather the sporty/countryside types. He’s always had very intelligent and ambitious girlfriends but has a soft spot for pretty girls, like the one above
