With her ex boyfriends she got into arguments with them a lot and she got fed up with them and angry at them. They said horrible things to her about her circumstances but expected her to love them in return. I try to treat her with respect and I try to balance by not expecting her to be my servant and adhere to traditional gender roles.

I dislike both very much, but Trump is much better than Pence is. Remove skin color and their different religion; Pence is no different than an ISIS fighter. Both hate the LGBTQ; both think women should be submissive; both think Atheists are Satan's soldiers; both think we must follow the traditional gender roles, and both are anti-science. Pence belongs in a Middle Eastern country than a civilized first world western country. I know people outside this site who are Republicans who hate Pence and think Pence is hurting the Republican party due to his extreme religious views.

we're basically force feeding women to every white collar branche of labour (notice that nobody cares for female quota in blue collar jobs) in order to solve a very unscientifically determinded "inequality" problem... but that's a discussion for another day.

My question is: how is it that we in all those years never even begun to promote the image of the stay at home dad?

certainly being a stay at home family member, doing the chores and rising the children is not a bad thing is it? children won't rise themselves. why is there not a huge campaign to promote this and financial support for families that decide to go that route? why do all "equality movements" always care for just womens career, and completely dismiss the fact that they are weakening the family structure if they don't replace that role with something new? or do you think there's something wrong with a stay at home dad?

This isn't a troll question and not a question meant to dismiss or brush off the individual problems that one may experience belonging to one gender so if you disagree with the premise of this question, i invite you to have a civil discourse and constructively critique my question.

bonus discussion for if you are a bit more educated on the topic than the average joe (no insult, this is not common knowledge): do you think the single breadwinner model is financially still a feasible survival strategy in modern days? can especialially the financial middle class even afford one stay at home parent? and do you agree with me, that the dual breadwinner model negatively influences a family-units capacity to properly socialize their child (ren)?

I'm turning 26 and thinking about "settling down" but I've always seen that term used when someone fucked off in their past and now want a real relationship. At least on the internet that's how it's described.
But I'm a virgin waiting until marriage, I've never had a girlfriend and never even been on a date, and here's why.
When I was younger I never had an interest in dating, I had other hobbies. The people I went to school with only dated just to have a temporary place holder so they don't look awkward, and I didn't agree with that. I saved dating for the future and decided to spend my younger years working on myself and my career.
I'm pretty conservative, I believe in traditional gender roles, I want to be the main provider of the household and would prefer a housewife/stay at home mom, although she doesn't really have to be. It seems impossible these days since the average American family income can't even afford a basic living, but I wanted to go against all odds and became a self employed day trader and I'm working on my real estate license.
Now I'm turning 26, I make enough to support a family with my income alone, recently got a mortgage on a nice big house with a white picket fence (had to have it), got my shit together and everything. Now I think it's time that I find a young virgin conservative girl who's also waiting until marriage to settle down with so we can one day have kids and have the nuclear family we dreamed of.
