We weren't in a relationship. It was only sex. So when I got pregnant I didn't tell him and decided I would be a single mother. Then when I told one of my friends who the father was she apparently knew him and told him I was and that he was the dad. So then he texted me and asked if it was true which i just fessed up and then asked me why I didn't tell him and then I responded that I don't owe him any explanation and what happens with my own body. After I told him this I blocked him and can longer receive messages from him so I don't know what he said after that.

For all the guys who think I should've told him keep in mind I don't want child support or any help from him. So either way its none of his business in my view.

Either way I'm moving out state and moving on with life, but I wondering what other guys would do in this situation.

In my opinion, kissing is the perfect way to bond with a person.

This may sound daft since the person I'm talking about here is actually my ex boyfriend... but recently we have been talking again. Baby steps have led to better conversations and a little more emotional openness from him. It has also led to a lot of flirting.

Now, he'll flirt with me quite the thing. He still finds me attractive and all. But he never mentions kissing. Ever. He used to love a kiss as well.

I was particularly surprised when he dropped by to say hi after his work a few nights ago. It was late at night too. I ended up going outside to say hello and he ended up going in for a hug.

It wasn't just a friendly hug. It was a groin to groin full body hug with his arms around the low of my back. My face was nuzzled into his neck and this went on for a good few minutes. He dropped his hands to my bottom (with permission) and I dropped mine to his.

Mid hug, I moved my head to the other side of his. I made eye contact with him smiling and he said 'don't' with a soft smile/laugh. I'm assuming he meant not to kiss him. Not that I was going to do that? A hug was enough. But yeah, I guess I'm confused here.

By the way, we have never had sex before!

Ok I'ma describe him:

He never had much growing up as a child. His dad and mum were pretty simple minded? And his dad suffered from mental health issues. His dad was also quite an angry man from what I've heard, although he did love his family.

When he was 17, he dated a girl who was... wild. She cheated recklessly on him, became addicted to drugs and also had mental health issues, which he often had to deal with. In the end, that girl slept with someone else, left him, then got pregnant to some other guy shortly afterwards. He was pretty messed up about that.

Since the age of 17-30 he's had 15 sexual partners and was cheated on... multiple times. Some of the partners were one night stands.

At the age of 26, his dad died suddenly of a heart attack and he was left feeling absolutely devastated with a lot of regrets. About 6 months later, his mum who had been suffering from cancer, died too. So he was left alone with his brother and sister. His brother has severe mental health issues and has been suicidal before. He lives with his brother to this day, and his brother is very difficult to be around.

His sister then married a drug addict and gave birth to a disabled baby not long after.

And then? I met him. He took a liking to me because I 'wasn't like the other girls'. Things went ok. He could always connect physically with me? Tell me he loved my body, or that I had great boobs and looked sexy etc.

But trying to draw out any emotions was... so difficult. He never wanted to have deep emotional conversations. He could never apologise when he was wrong, his moods would swing constantly, he never seemed to pick up on my feelings and everything just felt so emotionally shallow.

He claimed to love me and all, but I could never truly love him because he seemed so emotionally dead at times. Of course, things turned bitter, didn't they? And he ended up getting really angry with me, so we split.

Today, he's still resentful towards me. And any kind of emotion he once had is... completely gone. Yeah, he'll still flirt and all, I sometimes wonder why that's the only way he will communicate with me.

I'm still a virgin and all, so we never had sex.

So, do you think he sounds damaged? Please tell me I'm not the only one.
