What I am getting at here is how do you imagine your future wife or husband, do you want them to be just like you or completely opposite from you?

Here is an example let say you are a black American man who is a democrat, you want to have a family and you imagine becoming a chemical engineer. Would you prefer to date a woman/man who is also democrats, they are also black American and want to start a family and their career choice is an chemical engineer as well or you not interested in dating or marrying a person who resemble you.

While this is the opposite answer, you are a black American male who is of course a democrat, his main career goals are becoming a chemical engineer. You want to have your very own family but here is the thing your partner is rationally different from you. You prefer to have a partner who is a republican, he/she is a different race from your own, they might not been interested in starting a family but you look pass it but the main thing is they worked in a different profession like a college professor. Would you rather have a person who is opposite from you or you couldn't live like that and you want to have someone who shares your ideas, culture, race, political views, and of course have the exact same job as you!

I actually really love the idea of opposite attract to me personally, I kinda wouldn't be interested in dating a literal female version of myself, so I definitely would want to choose a girl who is rationally different from my ideas and views. But what about you men and women, want a partner who is exactly similar to you or you want a partner who is completely different from you? Remember there ain't no right or wrong answer!

I’ve had so many relationships but I’ve barely felt any love. Every time I start to love a woman she pulls away. I even dated a girl named Cheryl I didn’t care about because she was obsessed with me. At the beginning Cheryl was submissive and did everything for me. Later on I caught feelings and started to love her. Cheryl pulled away. Why do women love to play games with my emotions?

My uncle told me marry a woman who loves me, not a woman I love, but I just can’t. I’m a lover boy who loves to give n receive love. I relationship can’t work with one sided love. If it’s impossible find a woman who’ll love back as much as I love her. Then I’d rather single for life. Because a relationship has to go further than physical attraction.

I used to think I didn't care about girls intelligence level whatsoever, until I met this one girl who proved me wrong. There is a threshold that is too low for me to go in the intellectual department lol

But by and large I'd say a 2-3 for me. A girls intelligence really doesn't matter to me. Care more about other female traits. Like I've dated smart girls who illuminated me in some areas and some helped me learn new things that I appreciated like in college.

Specifically because it helped me throughout my college career. But that didn't make me like her more, make me attracted to her or even bond. It was just some cool shit I learned that I could use.

Usually I tend to not like girls who self describe themselves as smart because they tend to be in your face about it trying to PROVE they're smarter and overcompensate for some insecurities.

Rather than just be smart and cool at the same time. I appreciate intelligence but don't need it. Thoughtful, kind, caring, genuine. These things I care about far more

I've separated the options because I'm a christian and I've noticed christian friends answer one way while intent culture seems to answer another.

What I mean by a date is a rather low-commitment, getting-to-know you kind of hangout where the person who asked for the date told the other that they're interested romantically. I'm not talking about romantic dinner. Coffee dates, hanging out at a park, or just doing something fun all count as long as intentions are clear.

Tou should answer yes if you'd say that if you met someone, and you had a solid, enjoyable first conversation (more than small talk), and this person expressed interest in you, like that they also really enjoyed meeting you and would like to go on a date, that you would consider saying yes.

You should also answer yes if you'd say that you'd go on a date with an acquaintance who asked you out--one who you'd say that you weren't on a friendship level with yet.

It's a no answer if you would say that, on principle, you would decline to go on a date with someone who you didn't know as a friend first. People who say this often say that they need to be friends first to get to know who the person really is.
