In this century where women are so competitive , they want a good looking dude who is rich aswell so that she can show him off to her friends and relatives.

Women will date average guys but those average guys will never meet her friends or sisters , he will always be in the background and will get dumped when a good looking dude comes along.

Why are women so shallow?

I never thought I'd say this... but it's really hard for me to date women these days because every single woman I meet seems to be heavily into sports, if not, more than some of the guys!

I'm 25 years old, and I never really cared about sports and I don't watch them on TV. Don't let that fool you, though! I played basketball all my life and turned down a college scholarship for a good school because it got boring for me after a while. I also ran track and field and ran the 100 meter dash, 200 and 400. I also did rugby as well. So... I play sports and understand them... But I am not really passionate about sports, nor do I watch them.

I'm more of a simple guy. Like to go out and do things, travel, art, museums, writing, reading, wine tasting, fashion, trying new foods... that type of stuff. I also don't mind playing sports and having competitive dates... I just don't watch sports.

In the past... when I tell people I don't watch sports or when they find out I don't watch sports, I typically get shunned/ignored or people poke fun at me. Everywhere I go, all people talk about are sports.

I dunno... I just don't think watching sports is a big deal, and there are other things in life other than watching sports all day and idolizing a man for being able to shoot a basket.

Most of the guys that are on the team are all pre law or currently in law school from what one guy was telling me. I really don't know how I would hold up to be honest. I've debated at my community college but it wasn't intercollegiate/competitive. I've been building up the courage to just go through with it but deadlines are coming up. I mean competitive debate at the university level is just a whole new realm within itself. A LOT of spectators and you're always being recorded.. Been sort of psyching myself out tbh but I think I'm going to just nut up and do it. Plus it would be extremely satisfying to start slaying social justice warriors in front of an audience instead of just on GAG.

I'll go next month to what's called Debate Camp where they would feel me out and mentor me on my strengths/weaknesses. All the novice have to do this. Then I'll compete in a unofficial local debate and they will see how I perform and make their final decision as to whether they will actually use me or not. If all goes well I'll get to travel within my state and out of state if we make regionals.

I'm an engineering major and I know the two don't correlate but it's something I'm extremely passionate about. While I am certainly passionate about this, my question remains... Would his be a big plus on a resume or is it just something that wouldn't come close to even raising an eyebrow?
