Hey I should probably start off by describing myself a bit. I‘m a 19 years old girl from Europe. I‘m about 5'4" tall, have dark eyes, long darkbrown hair and pale skin. I would say I look pretty average but I always try to put effort in the way I look to look presentable for my family and boyfriend. My family raised me pretty strictly because in our family good manners and education are very important.

Now to the problem:
When it comes to emotions people describe me as cold. I would love to say that this is not true but often enough i find myself avoiding to get emotionally involved with anyone because I was disappointed so many times before. This also includes my boyfriend. I absolutely love him but I can‘t feel it. I often try to show him how much I love him but I feel like I always fail because of my general behaviour around him.

When we go for a walk for example I absolutely hate holding hands or when he puts his arm around me. I prefer linking arm or keeping them to ourselves. I also don‘t like kissing in public or any sort of PDA like cuddling when we wait for something. When I see couples that do things like that it seems repellent to me.

My boyfriend sometimes hints that he doesn‘t understand my behaviour but I don‘t know how to talk to him about it because I am scared to hurt him.

Ok so I've been talking to this guy, I thought as friends but he thought otherwise. We have been taking for about 4-5months and about a month ago he asked me out. I was put on the spot and about pissed my self so I said yes. Keep in mind, we live about 1hour and 30min away from each other. he's nice and takes things slow for me. I've got a rough past, he doesn't know the story but I'm throwing hints at him when I get uncomfortable. I dont have any confidence in myself at all, so how can I keep a stable relationship with someone? Dont get me wrong the boy is nice but he doesn't complement me, doesn't show much care, I told him my dad got hurt so I couldn't hang out that day and he got upset, when we do hang out he only wants to play video games, ONLY video games. Like I wouldn't mind going to the park and hanging out, or watch a movie at the house. He makes me go down to him, he has never came down to my house. I admit I'm not pretty, I'm bigger and thicker, your girls got some junk in the trunk, so i can't be picky when it comes to guys. My last boyfriend cheated on me and I apologize, yep, I apologize for not being good enough. I'm so fucked up😂 The boy makes fat jokes, tells my sister she has cake face, and has no gentleman manners. We walked to walmart to get drinks and he walked way in front of me, on the right side of me, didn't open any doors, and didn't walk me out of his house when it was time to leave. Oh yeah we have only been on one date... he is joining the navy so I love that and he is in the recruiters at the moment and I totally respect that. But he dead ass asked are you going to date me in 6 mouths... my first thought was I dont even know what's for dinner. Anyways I was going to talk to him about just being friends but I dont want to hurt him, that's the very least thing I wanna do.

So I'll try to make this short. I was at my sisters place for 3 days. 1st day was good. Second day a friend of her showed up and brought her 2 children. She left them with us and went out with her boyfriend. My sister ended up talking on the phone most of the time so I made them something to eat and kept them entertained. 3rd day my sister promised to take me out to dinner as a late birthday present. So I picked up my niece from kindergarden and met my sister in the city when she was done working. We coincidentally met the friend with kids and we ended up going to several different shops the friend wanted to visit instead of straight to dinner. 2 hours later we were finally at the restaurant. But the friend didn't want to go inside cause it was a fancy restaurant and she felt underdressed. So they decided to order take our and go home. The friend and her kids planned to stay that night at my sisters place. I told my sister I'd go home and I don't want to stay another night. (I live in another town, 3h by train/bus) She is pissed at me now and didn't even say goodbye. I just wasn't in the mood to share the sofa with someone else and hours of kids screaming. I love kids and I love to take care of my niece but her kids have no manners and know no rules. It's exausting to be in the same room as them.
