So I've been seeing this guy recently that I've been talking for a few months and we seem to have a lot of similarities/things in common. Whenever we would meet up/go on a date we always ended up doing something sexually and this one time he begged to do something and wouldn't take no for an answer but we didn't do anything. ( i have told him how i felt about things and he apologize for doing that and said it won't happen again)

he's new to all of this relationship stuff he's not use to it and things like meeting families/talking about kids or anything far ahead freak him out. He said he wants to take things naturally and not put pressure on it. He said something about what i said before about being lonely and starting over again. He has told his dad and friend about me. he's more of an in person guy.

When were in public he hardly looks at me sometimes (he did say thats what he does is people watch and just look around) and usually looks at me but when were alone he looks at me deeply in the eyes and is very affectionate. In public we do sometimes hold hands and hug , he puts his arm around me etc. We've had a few hiccups and he has anxiety so when we had a situation he was pushing me away.

He also told me he likes me and wants to be fair to me, he said he wants a relationship but his anxiety gets the best of him. (From what i can tell and confirmed with him)

he's a very shy guy and keeps to himself , not a huge fan of pda but when were alone he's not shy and as I've mentioned is very affectionate and looks deeply in my eyes and knows how to turn someone on/make someone feel good.

I’m in my mid twenties and never been in a real relationship. I’ve been on dates and met up with guys but it 9/10 times doesn’t go anywhere. I’m told I’m an attractive woman, I definitely have confidence issues but am realistic about the kind of man I should attract. I’m not a 10 but should not only attract men I’m not interested in. The ones I like don’t like me back & the ones that like me I don’t like back. If I went with any of the men that came my way, I would be settling and miserable. I’m very shy and don’t really talk to people but most women I know were approached by their husbands/fiancé’s/boyfriends first. Why should I do all the legwork? Am I just cursed or is this common?
