Hard to read shy guy? Interested?

I work with a guy who appears to be shy. We work in different departments. Both myself and another coworker have noticed a couple things. - he always appears to be looking at me, when I am not looking. - when we were at a staff training, my friend across the room, noticed he continued to sneak periodic glances at me. - he has approached me to talk about work stuff after his shift was over (he's done with work before me). - when I talk to him, he maintains eye contact. - if I catch him looking at me, his gaze does not wander. - my coworker noticed that one day when I was out of the office, my crush, looked at my office door and appeared sad. - Another time, my coworker observed that he walked past my office and made it very obvious that he was looking in my office. He does appear shy, but I don't know if he is interested. I am also not sure of how to approach it because I am shy when it comes to relationships too.

I should add, he is a single dad of a 4 year old.

Well ofcourse he likes you but could not tell it to you because it is really a challenge for a shy guy to do so... if you too are interested you can start a conversation... a normal work related... and if possible do not involve others in your conversation... because he won't open up in front of others..

Thank you! He appears to have dialed back "dropping signs" as of recent. Also, has had some opportunities to come approach me, when I've been alone when others aren't necessarily around. But hasn't.

Ma'am I am a big time introvert and I know how scary it is for a guy like us to go and talk to someone especially when it comes to talking to our crush... if you wait for him to talk u guyz might end up not talking to each other... so if you too are interested go and initiate the conversation... just sharing my thought bcz i regret a lot of incidents when i should have talked but even today i don't have the guts

I think he surely likes you but you could be coming off as intimidating ( I mean in good ways). For eg you have lots of confidence, you are very outgoing and can easily mingle with people etc.

Well, I understand that but if he is afraid and shy as well then it is not going to be easy for him to approach you.

Maybe he will approach you when he thinks he has enough confidence to do so but how long that can take I cannot say.
