I am head over heels in love with my boyfrined and I think he is in love with me too but he is mute as a gold fish.

I know he loves me: we spend pretty much every weekend together (and have sleep overs during the week), he insists on us working out together every day, he helped me move, he'd wake up early and go to a store if I need anything (bacon, painkillers, OJ), he's very affectionate and we keep in touch throughout the day every day.

I'm so in love I wanna scream about it in 41 foreign languages. BUT it took him 3 months to start calling me babe. What do I do, guys? It's harder to keep this inside each day but I do want to wait for him to say it first. What do I do? Do I say it? Confront him? Ask him? Or simply get a patience injection and wait for it to come?

We've been dating for 6 months. Now, I know this isn't *that* long of a dating time but it's the logest either of us dated in a couple of years and both of us are quite picky. We also are different: I'm an enthusiastic extravert and he's a quiet humble introvert.

How do you know when to fight for your love and when to run away?
I know a lot of people confuse love with lust mixed with their possessivness and pride. I would like you to distinguish in which emotion would you respond a certain way to the above situations.

EX: "I found out my love has slept with another person and I felt sad/angry. Now that I think about it, I did love my partner for who they were as a person and I felt sad and angry due to my feelings of possessivness over them. I won't go back to my ex partner because even though I loved them, we werent right for each other."

I've seen this theory that there are 5 different ways to express love (that is, there are 5 "love languages"). Each of us has one primary love language (and one secondary one). The love languages are:

1) gifts - you feel most loved when someone gives you a gift.
2) acts of service - you feel most loved when someone does something for you (e. g. cooks for you)
3) quality time - you feel most loved when someone spends quality time with you
4) physical touch - you feel most loved when someone touches you (eg hugs, kisses, etc)
5) words of affirmation - you feel most loved when someone compliments you.

An interesting thing is that we tend to express love how we receive it and yet our SO may not have the same love language so they feel unloved. For example, I am a physical touch person but my ex was acts of service person - so he was too busy doing things for me to hug me, but all I wanted was hugs...
