Lately, my friend has been doing some things that kinda seem intentionally rude, and I'm just curious to see if I'm tripping, or if she is. Recently, it seems as if everything has been revolving around her social calendar and what she wants. For example, my birthday was recently. I was extremely appreciative that she put something together for my birthday (especially since I'm going through a rough bout of depression). However, I was disappointed that she invited someone that she knows I have an issue with (this person is going around spreading confidential information about me that should NOT be getting out, and is always looking for the slightest thing to run and go tell. I don't trust this person AT ALL). I was willing to overlook this, though, and went along with it.

When one of my friends was trying to take me out to lunch, this friend invited herself, then kept rescheduling based on her schedule. Not mine, not the person treating me, HERS. It got to the point I didn't even want to go, so I took a rain check.

I've been trying to schedule an event all summer, and have presented a list of dates. They never seem to work for her. The one date that worked for both of us, she canceled at the last minute, citing that she had to go out of town for something work-related. When she got back, she told me that she never ended up doing the work-related stuff, but had the event that I've been trying to plan. I was hurt.

Is she being a bad friend? Am I? I need a little help here. My brain is tired.
