In this MyTake, I will go over 6 reasons all people know God exist even though their flesh is corrupted to the point they can't realize it.

1 People know there is a God

People suppress this truth in unrighteousness because they don't want God to rule their life. Nobody lives a totally godless life, even if they see themselves as their own god. People appeal to authority. If a person is getting hurt, they will report the person hurting the other and it shows they know God exists.

God is the Supreme Being with eternal existence

2 People know there is truth

When people discuss things with others, they are trying to get others to understand that they are ultimate truths and an eternal truth about situations. Nobody lives as if all things are subjective opinions.

Truth always points only one way

3 People know there is right and wrong

When people see a child die of cancer, they know that it was not fair. They fail to realize that we live in a fallen state and sin destroys. They live as if that ought not to be. People have a moral understanding of what is right and what is wrong. When people see a person being taken advantage of, they know that there is God. They can't get around it. Nobody lives as if it is just a part of the way the world is. They know there is right and wrong and evolution has no mechanism by which we can measure moral standards. That comes from God because we are made in His image.

Good and evil are spiritual force by which they help guide our choices

4 People know they are not righteous

All people know that there are not inherently good. They have the understanding that some things within them is not good and that evil resides in us all that corrupts us. People can easily recognize the difference between disobeying a rule and being evil and that there are levels of evil. Not all evils are created equal.

Righteousness should be your desire and will and you need to stay in righteousness and not walk away from it

5 People know judgment is necessary

When we see things like rape and murder against even the very innocent and seemingly nothing done immediately, we know that their evil actions demands judgment. To even entertain the possibility that evil won't get judged or punished shows that you truly see no evil or anything wrong with those actions. If you live thinking they got away with it, then it wasn't truly evil because evil is always get its true justice.

Judgment is coming and we need to know God before it is too late

6 People know they need a savior

People are totally aware that they can't redeem themselves and need salvation. All people know there is a God they can take refuge in and provide them peace and comfort from their troubles. All people have the knowledge that they can try doing it themselves but will fall hard. People know Jesus will be their savior. Many reject His help because they want to remain stubborn and they are prideful and selfish and want to save themselves.

Jesus is the King of salvation and only way for you to meet your full Heavenly potential in the afterlife

Conclusion:

No matter what people tell you, they know God exists. God is unconditional independence by which all things dependent came from. No other thing has the possibility to match that title. God loves people in spite of their denial of His existence. They deny God because they allow their flesh to be their ruling force and subdue their spirit from taking charge. They have been deceived from Satan and they will claim they aren't deceived but the deceived are not in a good position to know they are deceived.

They truly think in their heart that they are in control and have the knowledge that Satan is not using them. They are ignorant to spiritual devices and blinded by over rusting science that they fail to realize that man has a spiritual component to them. Their pride keeps from from attaining truth and they speak things thinking it is true when it isn't. They let Satan block them from knowing God because they are spiritually lazy and too ignorant and arrogantly think they know things about the nature of reality. They can know things through Jesus Christ if they will listen to the Holy Ghost and allow Him to teach them. They mock and scoff at spiritual world affairs because they have decided to leave the image of God and take on the image of Satan.

Please listen to the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the greatest teacher in the world and know that God values your present earthly life and heavenly life. Don't let Satan bully you into accepting a life of Hell after death.

I grew up believing in a supreme being. Later in life I became a Christian. I decided to convince my secular and agnostic friends and family that God of the Bible exists and the words are true. I set out on a mission to scientifically validate claims made in the Bible by showing all the flaws in the best arguments against God. I watched videos by atheists, scientists, biologists, and historians. I scoured the Bible for rebuttals. I came up against Neil Degrasse Tyson, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitches, and James Randi, to name a few. I quickly found that I could not penetrate the logical positions held by these people without giving up my intellect and education. My choice was either to abandon my quest to better understand the natural world as described by science or alter my faith in God. So I prayed. I tithed, I doubled-down on my mid-week prayer and bible studies, and I put extra effort in my volunteering and worship services. I asked God to show me my flaws. I asked God to show me His face. To take my unbelief from me. Silence. Time passes. I asked god to show me a sign of his existence. Anything. Silence. Surely if He wanted me faithful to him He would give me SOMETHING. Nothing. I pleaded. I told God my only choice would be to stop believing. Silence. A year passed. My weekly and mid-weekly prayer and community events became more hollow and empty. One day it all fell apart and I knew there was no God. So many relationships ended. So much of my community life ended. A giant hole was left inside me. But that hole was the removal of a lie, a cancer that was eating me. When we died, we died and no one has ever come back to contradict that. So when your question asks about 'knowing' God, it is an empty question. What you are asking is about 'believing' in God. And believing is God is something I can never do again.

While sharing your belief in God and being in some sympathy with your argument, this MyTake is profoundly flawed. In terms of its intellectual construction it is demanding that the atheist accept your premises first, and then proceed to the discussion. In effect, you stacked the deck and then demanded that the atheist cut the cards.

In terms of its general tenor, you are showing disrespect for the atheist. You are not engaging his/her arguments, you merely baldly assert that they are wrong. You do not treat them as an equal, but rather as a dim child that must be taught the rules of life. This paradoxically causing you to betray your own principles to love your fellow man.

Back to the first point, you would be more effective and persuasive if you debated the atheist on his own terms. Note the point is to use the premises of atheism. Not to say, as you have done, it is obvious and you must just accept it. Rather, to say, "Okay, this is what you assert, let us explore the fallacies in that argument." This is not just apt to be more persuasive to the atheist, it treats his ideas with respect and shows that you are capable of engaging with them analytically.

The atheist presumes to respect the life of the mind and pure reason, so follow in the traditions of Augustine, Aquinas and Chesterton - among others - and engage intellectually and not with spirituality, which to be fair can conduce to a mere sentimentality. God gave you a mind to reason, so reason.

No, for example, some - and probably most if not all - atheists will NOT accept that they need a savior. That is a presumption of the theist. When you make such an argument you are living in an intellectual hall of mirrors.

Related to the latter point, it is important to remember that it is not what you want to say, rather it is what you want the other person to hear. When you start by demanding that the atheist start by accepting your premises, the atheist will likely feel disrespected and so - click! - will shut any chance of a reasoned discussion.

Moreover, the atheist will see you as little more than pure emotion. Not given to reasoned debate but left to sheer "Bible banging."

To be sure, many atheists are unthoughtful atheists. They are because they are. They presume their own perfection. They presume that perfection of mind and analysis that they would assert, in any other context, is impossible for imperfect beings. Indeed, some atheists, it would appear, are so merely out of bigotry and resentment toward their mental stereotype of what a theist is alleged to me - emotional, irrational, hypocritical, etc.

For such atheists, again, the answer to persuading them is to respect them. To counter the stereotype and not confirm it. To do so by engaging them on their own terms intellectually and by showing the kindness and respect in personal terms that they presume you are incapable of living even as you preach it.

If humans are imperfect then atheism is imperfect and the best approach is to point out those errors while recognizing the difficult problems in your own view. As i noted in the opening to the question the link to which I provided above - quoting G. K. Chesterton, “It is absurd for the Evolutionist to complain that it is unthinkable for an admittedly unthinkable God to make everything out of nothing, and then pretend that it is more thinkable that nothing should turn itself into everything.”

My hats off to you for trying to engage this question. However, the problem is that the MyTake is a little like spitting in someone's face and then telling them you love them. A hard sell.

So I am an athiest straight out of the gate I'm letting you know and I'll go step by step in letting you know why each of these points are not only incorrect but also ridiculous that you associate them with God's prospect.

1. Authority is not a good complex. Authority is a man made complex that give is order and the ability to keep the rights of humans to be fair. Not because we see an authoritive figure as a god. As for reporting another person hurting, how in the world does that show they know God exists? That's caring for another person as a human being.

2. Opinions do not define the human race. Science is built on facts from tests and results. Facts are not a god made construct and rather is the real meaning of something. Is you say that you have a brain, that is a fact, not an opinion, and it's not a construct of a god that it's true, not does it prove that God exists.

3. Right and wrong is not something a god made. Right and wrong was decided by man to create order and prevent chaos. Not everybody's right and wrong are the same. And you are actually completely wrong saying that if someone is being taken advantage of, they know there is a god. If they see someone taken advantage of, that shows that the person taking advantage is not in the right as it is for personal gain for the others misfortune. That's is not a god complex, that is a moral standard that was taught and learned because that is what worked in society.

4. This one, I don't even know how to explain it. The "Righteousness" you are referring to is the act of being good rather than being bad. This is not a god complex and is not only a moral that is taught, but a decision made by the person as to what is good and not. You're statement saying it is easy to decide what is good and what is not is completely wrong. Not everything has a clear black and white answer because not everything is easy to decide on.

5. Judgment is not a god complex, it is a sense of order to keep chaos and anarchy from taking over. Judgement in a court goes over the facts of what happened and wether or not it was lawfully just. We made laws for a reason and they were not there when the universe was created nor when humans were around initially. We had to make rules to make sure everything is fair to everyone and not all rules are the same since everywhere has different rules.

6. This one is just absolutely ridiculous, I don't even want to explain this one. The fact that you say "all people know there is a god" is so stupid. How can you prove that? You don't know how everybody think every moment from birth, nor do they have any reason to believe in a god. You're are completely ignorant to say that everybody needs a savior when there are plenty of people who just do not care about anything religious. Actually, I do not know that your God exists... In fact I'm sure if your God exists, he/it/whatever is probably overlooked by something much larger and far more superior than it.
The thing is, religion is all about faith and sinply believing in things. If thr gods are real, they do not have an active hand in the everyday lives of people and if they did, a LOT of the plagues and such that have plagued our race of people, would not have did as much damage as it did.

I believe that when God judges us he, who is truly forgiving if we forgive ourselves and admit to what we have done, does so knowing whether we are forgivable or not. Does the person know what they did was wrong (like if it was an accident) or are they a psychopath who goes on a killing rampage. These all factor into our final judgement.

Wrong. Morality comes from our ability to empathize and place ourselves in other people's shoes. Its the same reason we know certain things are wrong. Of course not everyone has this ability. Pyschopaths/sociopaths lack the ability to empathize. So if this is something that came from a god, psychopaths/sociopaths wouldn't exist.

Also another thing too is that you are thinking of morality as binary when in reality, its a lot more complicated and many times its subjective. If morality was completely objective/binary, moral dilemmas wouldn't exist and everyone would all agree on what is moral.
