I'm actually doing a study for my college class, and I want to see if people are more willing to date inside their race or if they are more willing to date outside their race. Neither answer is wrong, so please be honest! Also, if you post a comment, please post something like:

"I want to date within my race. I am white"

or

"I want to date outside my race. I am white"

I will explain the purpose of this later on.

A Sikh couple claim they were advised by an adoption agency not to apply because of their ethnic background. Sandeep and Reena Mander were told by Adopt Berkshire that white British or European applicants would be given preference, as "only white children were in need". "They took the colour of our skin as the overriding reason not to progress with the application", said Mr Mander.

A spokesman for Adopt Berkshire says "we do not comment on ongoing court cases," and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has not responded to a request for comment. While it's now been made illegal for adoption agencies to prioritize on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation and religion, it's still perfectly legal for adoption agencies to prioritize on the basis of race. Do you consider this to be fair?

I've heard women saying they prefer a tall, dark and handsome man and men saying they prefer a dark beautiful woman in dating. But I've seen some people thinking a person is dark, but another thinks s/he is too "white" or light to be considered "dark".

I gave you a "Other" option in the poll since I can't add more options. So if you example define African looking people with blonde hair or blue eyes as dark, you can mention that in the comments.

Here's my definition on dark.
- If the person has black hair, brown eyes and has the same skin color as picture B or darker.
- If the person has a brown skin, even if they've blue eyes or are blondes like some people from the Melanesian.
- Being dark isn't a synonym with a race and every races do have dark and light people
- Typically Scandinavian looking people is light. That includes people who has blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin and people who is ginger, light skinned and has all types of eye colors.

Let's throw some limits on the impossible to make this simpler.

-You die when the last human being besides you dies.

-You can't be killed or harmed in any way.

-You will revert, age, or stay the way you look when you are twenty-one years old. You can still change your appearance and lose weight, get muscular, etc.

-You cannot be trapped or contained, for that would mean only suffering awaits you until the extinction of the human race. If you remain motionless for a solid two days, you will teleport somewhere safe, near other people. (For instance, buried in a steel coffin underground about half a mile.) <-- This would be a cool question in the future. I'll have to remember that.

As for me? I would not wish to experience such a thing. Curse for sure. Going back to work soon, I'm looking forward to checking this later.

Pretty much all polls for attractive race goes to white/Caucasian for both men and women, so I left them out of this poll. I want to see where the other race stands if Caucasian is out of the picture.
