So, I'm just wondering what you guys feel when it comes to your voice. Is it something you think about?

Are you content, or even happy about your sound?

A lot of people seem to either love or hate their own voice. Which is something that creates extra insecurities in regards to public speaking. Or in social settings.


I've recorded my own voice, so you can hear me sound like a radio host with nothing interesting to address. I wouldn't mind if any of you did the same. But I understand if you just want to describe what it's like.

I was speaking to a newly de-convert from theism and he now ascribes to atheism, which I don't accept, and said if God exists, then it would be immoral because He would be invading our minds, which he said should be private and that if God indeed did exist that He should judge us based on actions and not thoughts. He also said that God being all-powerful would be able to disconnect Himself from reaching our minds and only judging our actions.

I countered by saying that if God withdrew His knowledge of what were in our mind, then God wouldn't be all-knowing because if He withdrew that know of Himself from us, He would know that He didn't know what He was not allowing Himself to know about what we were thinking and that means He wouldn't be God. To be God, it is necessary that He knows what we think and can't withdrew freely from knowing what we think. If God withheld part of His knowledge, He can't be all-knowing.

God's existence can't be immoral regardless of the knowledge of our minds since existence is not something He brought Himself into having, as it is necessary for God to exist and if He had no say in His existence, then He didn't do an evil action by existing. If God's existence was not a willful act, He can't be held morally accountable for existing. Maybe He can have a point in the knowledge part but not the existence part.

he finally granted some premises and said regardless, if God exists, He should desire to let us know He exists so he said God either does not exist or doesn't want us to know He exists. God could have sufficient reasons for not wanting us to know He exists as some people can't handle God's existence. He later said after a few more argumentation points, that even if He exists, He will not serve God since God shouldn't be so selfish or jealous.
