#1 He and i had an argument yesterday because he’s all about keeping money in the bank, and I, like my grandpa am not. I honestly don’t trust the bank and would only leave a bit in there. I’ve never been a credit/debit card user and prefer to use cash only. However, he’s trying to “control” my future money by saying i HAVE to keep it in the bank. No hunny, I dont HAVE to do anything. He even said he’s forcing our kids to keep all their money in the bank.

#2 I feel that there should be a joint account and an individual account. He said that as a married couple EVERYTHING should be shared. Yet, we don’t respect eachother’s personal purchases sometimes. I’d be pissed if he spent a great amount of our “joint” personal purchases savings on a game console and he’d be pissed if i even spent even half of that on an outfit. I told him that half of our money should go to joint and half to individual, and if not half, then at least a quarter of our separate earnings to each indivual account. First, he got mad and said that there's no need for individual accounts. But I mean he’s getting a bit crazier everyday and i need my backup money in case I literally have to leave this dude. Secondly, he got pissed because my individual half would be kept outside of the bank. He’s trying to force me to keep every penny in the bank. I don't know when he became so controlling in terms of MY money. Honestly, I think I’m going to have to keep a secret stash. I know its not the best way to build trust in a marriage but he's being controlling right now

So here are some specific details.
- Together almost 2 years, not married
- You have proof with screenshots
- They had intentions of sending pictures because your S/O asked for pictures
- The woman/man they flirting with lives in another state
- The conversation happened a week ago and they stopped flirting but you S/O didn't tell you about this or expect you to see it
- They only did this with one stranger
- You know your S/O would break up with you over this but they don't want you to break up with them.
- They are old enough to know this was not only wrong but a calculated decision
- They boast about how they are loyal and expect you to be. And don't trust you, making you take pics when you are out because they want proof you aren't cheating. But here they are..
- They told you it's not a big deal and they made many different excuses, then eventually apologized

Personally, this is like a crack in a mirror. Weakens the integrity of the person, weakens loyalty, weakens trust. It's an opener for cheating. This is how it starts out. With just one person small flirting then it builds up over time with more people and pictures. This is a red flag. I understand if they want to break up because the S/O shoulda known better and don't have time for games. But I believe most people will say it depends or they will work it out since it's just the beginning.

As someone with MAD trust issues, I'm for the first time, in a relationship where I can say I fully trust my boyfriend. He's going away for almost 2 months now and that'll be a true test for someone like me, who's got trust issues and is insanely jealous. But I feel way less anxious now than I ever did with any ex just saying they were going to a party.
