Corey Wayne and Doc Love both recommended to never compliment an attractive woman you just met about her looks. She hears it all the time and it will do nothing to raise her interest level. They do say to compliment her on what she does or something else.

When I was younger I used to compliment attractive women all the time. But it only worked if they ALREADY were very interested in me to begin with. It likely hurt my chances with girls who were on the fence. Made me less challenging and mysterious. They already hear that five times a day

So tonight I stopped by a tanning salon. The girl working by the counter was drop dead gorgeous but I was at least 10 years older than her. She did lock eye contact with for a solid moment though. When I walked in the spray tanning in room (which is next to the front counter) I started to take off my shirt. I then realized the doors weren’t closed. I quipped “it might be a good idea to shut these doors”. The hot girl heard it and laughed. After I was finished I asked for her name. She then asked for mine without me volunteering it right away.

I so wanted to tell her she was very attractive but I stopped myself because she was working in a public place. Next time I see her I’m going to try to start a conversation. If I get a good vibe from her I’ll ask if she’s seeing someone. If not I’ll ask for her number. But should I compliment her?

I added this really pretty girl on Facebook a few months back, and we wound up talking and hitting it off super amazing.
Unfortunately, she was super busy with school and we didn't get together until recently. But we really connected emotionally, and we opened up about our past. She told me. her last relationship ended badly and he basically lost interest and refused to travel and see her. The she slept with a guy from a one night stand and she felt even worse about the situation.
I don't know how long it was, but we started talking not too long after.
We've been talking about getting together and a lot of things and we finally did today and...🤷‍♂️ Over the past few days she stressed she wanted to talk to me about something in person about herself, and wouldn't clue me in but said it wouldn't affect anything.
We were super talkitive before I picked her up, but she was super quiet and reserved when I did. We went back to my place because what we had planned wasn't available yet. I even brought her flowers and she didn't seem too enthused. So we watched a movie, I tried to get her to talk, and finally she said she was having a headache to almost a migraine level.
I did everything I could, and she lied down to try to take a quick nap and I gave her medicine and did all I could, but then she asked me to take her home.

On the way she said she knew I was an amazing guy and confirmed that with the time she spent with me, but she said she thought she was ready for a relationship again, but now the thought made her sick, and she felt bad because we discussed so much. She said she did want to give it some thought over the next week and see if she could move forward with me.
I told her I understood and I had been in her spot. She came back for several hugs and went into her home.

Is this basically over and done with now?
