On Dec 1, 1955, Rosa parks stood up, by sitting down, to those "damn democracts" in Alabama and changed the course of the USA. There had been a long line of Democrats... including when they fought the Civil War trying to propagate slavery going west... and lost. Then they fought against President Grant again to stop the first Civil Rights act... succeeded in that.

Those SOB's were racist, segregationalist, mean spirited low lifes... just terrible... I think you'd agree wouldn't you? It took courage to stand up to not just a person on a bus wanting to take her seat, but to a whole system of thinking. She changed their tune, like a complete 180 degree change. I mean... that's what happens when you give someone discipline.. smack em in the head as they say... they learn and change their mind.

Well done Rosa! They can be really considerate and wonderful people, but don't trust them too far, like anyone. Unfortunately they learned to enslave everyone using the Fed and the currency and we slowly have succumed to enslavement by way of corrupt money. But that's another story you had no control over.

Do you agree Rosa changed the history of the Democratic party by smacking them up side they heads?

I ask this because I am a knife collector:
In October, I bought myself a knife online WITH MY OWN MONEY. I got it in the post, my family immediately started with

"I don't want to ever see that outside the house"
"Do you know how many teens become murderers with knives?"
"That isn't a hobby, that's wrong"

I mean, what the hell?

A hobby is defined as
"An activity done regularly in ones leisure time for pleasure.

Knife collecting is described as a hobby that includes
Seeking
Locating
Acquiring
Organising
Cataloguing
Displaying
Storing
Maintaining the knives.

Now.
I enjoy collecting knives, that is the first one ticked
I seeks specific knives, not just any, that ticks the second
I locate those knives on specific different websites and stores when outdoors, that ticks third
I acquire them with my OWN money, that ticks fourth
I organise them in my room, that ticks fifth
I don't catalogue them
I display them, that ticks seventh
I store them in a safe manner, that ticks eighth
I maintain them myself by sharpening and cleaning the handle and washing them, that ticks ninth

So I DO HAVE A HOBBY!

I don't even have a huge amount right now, I have 3 but have my eyes on a 4th one soon, I just need to ask myself if I really want it.

The problem is, people always think bad things when they hear the word knife :'(


Knife fanatics may have their own reasons for the hobby of knife collection.

mine is that: I appreciate specific designs, I find beauty in the designs, knowing someone came up with that design and that is why I am very specific with which knives I own, only ones I find absolutely beautiful :) I have been looking for a Damascus steel folded one but I saw some but the handles didn't look ergonomic :(

I seriously recommend the Promithi company to other collectors, it is made with very high grade materials :)

1. How many children are too many, and why? Let's say it's a couple - e. g. a mom and a dad.
2. Is it wrong to have too many children, and why/why not?
3. Does the same thing apply to both biological and adoptive children?

My Opinion:
I thinks people should be allowed to decide how many children they wants to have, but I wouldn't recommend people having more than three children because of a child require a lot of energy, time, love and is expensive. A child also needs health insurance, college saving, space (big enough house), food, clothing, recreational activities etc. Healthy, able-bodied, well behaved and good economy aren't guaranteed for anyone.

If you're rich, you may afford having five children although it's higher than my general recommendation. But if you're poor, you may not be able to afford one child. Yet many poor people decides to have many like 5 - 10. I've even heard about people having 20 children.

Often the oldest siblings have to take care of the younger ones because of the parents doesn't always have enough time and capacity to take care of everyone. In addition the oldest siblings also often are expected to make money to the family, take care of their old parents etc. I think it's worse if you've many biological than adoptive ones, because of then you're putting people into the world without them asking to be born and if you fails as a parent it would do a bigger impact. If you adopts, it's someone else that may have get pregnant with an accident and therefor not your fault for their birth. It's better with a big family than none.
