My cousin's wife gave birth just over a year ago and today he told me that she's done nothing to lose the weight gain caused by pregnancy and he's sick of it. He said he's explained how he feels but she just says she will try and lose the weight but then does nothing.

His argument:

They have a nanny, a cleaner, a gardener and she works part-time. She has time to go and get hair & nails done, to go shopping for clothes & shoes, to meet up with her mates, to fit in nights out and to entertain at home. Why can't she fit in going to the gym?

My question is: is he being fair on his wife?

Do guys like to see girls holding babies or kids? Do they enjoy seeing girls play with little kids or comforting a crying child? Is the motherly instinct attractive?

I was working in a nursery just for fun and a baby started crying. I picked up the little boy and walked into the hall. The baby boy was crying and I was running out of options. I decided to start humming a song my mother sang to me when I was little. I swayed with the little boy in my arms and he rested his head near my neck and he stopped crying. I was still humming and gently put my cheek on the little boys head (not full weight on his head, just like a soft touch he could hardly feel) as he began to get sleepy. I rubbed his arm and distracted him with colorful pictures on the wall. I felt weird as I was humming and moving around with slow movements like swaying. I turned around while rocking the baby and saw a group of guys just staring at me. They had a weird look on their faces. I couldn't acknowledge them because of the baby, but I was a little self conscious at what they were doing. They left after I saw them, but a couple of them walked by me a couple times and I would catch them by looking at a dark window and see them watching me.
Why were they looking at me like that?
