It is widely known that milk (cow, sheep, goat) is not normally regularly digested by adults. it is meant to be digested by babies and toddlers. If an adult can digest it it is due to a gene mutation - which, as you suspect, is not very common at all. Chances are that by not eating dairy for a few months will improve your overall being.
