Does the Bible say greed and laziness are punished by God?

God told me in a dream that if I lived a life of laziness, greed, and self-indulgence, he would give me so many problems, I would lose the desire to live, but if I was giving and kind and productive, He would let me be happy and stay happy. My boyfriend might not care if I’m lazy, but God cares.
