The bible says God might curse your money and status if you get it without acknowledging His values. Thoughts?

I know people in toxic marriages or relationships because they decided to use their beauty, status, or wealth to dishonour God, instead of using their beauty, status, and wealth to serve God and honour God’s principles. Now, any time you use your money for a good moral purpose, you are serving God, even if the money is spent on a birthday cake and not on a religious temple or a charity hospital.

I'm not sure I understand tho I am trying to. You're saying they're in a bad relationship because their money was cursed because they didn't acknowledge God's values?

And I do not understand why the bible or God would say that? That does not sound like a loving God that would curse people. I thought it was witches who cursed people yet I am a witch and I never curse anything, I try to bless what I can with love and yet the bible says I should be killed for being a witch but it is ok for God to curse things.

I really struggle to try to understand all this and I really do try to be open minded.
