The bible says wealth makes you miserable if you do not share it with God, thoughts?

There is one story of a man who gets rich and chooses to spend it on his own belly instead of helping others and he dies before he gets to spend his money and the bible says this is his punishment for being so greedy.

A wealthy man who do not share can actually be pretty happy in this world depending on other aspects of his/her life. I think bible says wrong. I am muslim. I highly recommend you to search islam. You may find your true purpose in it😊

The problem with excessive wealth is that once you get it you have to keep it. This forces you to live in a mindset of perpetual fear.

I think it’s meant as a warning, because a lot of people are out for themselves; about selfishness and greed in excess. It’s not to be taken too literally, it’s just god’s warning not to be too much out for your own interests.
