Does the Bible say God rejects public, ego-driven prayers?

Do you know the bible says, God does not reward your prayer when you do it publicly with ego for attention?

Jesus said God rewards secret prayer you do in privacy and humility, that you do not talk about.

I know a woman that went to a school for disabled teenagers and she has dated a multimillionaire for almost 20 years.

I saw the humongous truck he picked her up in and she told me he has at least 5 trucks.

She prays and she does it in private. It took me 12 years to learn she prays to God.

Matthew 6:5-15

5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

I believe prayer should come from a sincere heart, not a desire for attention or praise from others. 🙏 Matthew 6:5–6 teaches us not to pray just to be seen by people, but to pray with humility and sincerity. However, I believe public prayer can also be meaningful when the intention is to glorify God rather than ourselves. What matters most is the condition of our hearts. 🙏

Where in the Bible does it say prayer has to be private?

If you go to church, the whole congregation prays together in a giant room. In Mercy hospitals, the priest prays every morning and night and when someone is about to pass away over a loud intercom.

But the Bible is extremely contradictory to what people actually follow. Jesus said to tear down the temple and the temple was not a building by the body.

So, everyone who goes to church is directly contradicting the Bible.
