What is your opinion of those who say that obedience to God is impossible in light of my post?

What I have learned over the years is that God rewards partial obedience and even when you partially obey God instead of totally obeying God, your partial obedience to God will slowly or quickly kill off your desire to disobey God.

A pastor at my old church used to smoke weed before he became a Christian and after he became a Christian, he realized he could no longer get high from smoking weed so he never smoked weed again.

I was cured from anorexia when I became a Christian. I used to starve myself because I was terrified of becoming fat. After God cured me of anorexia, I did not gain or lose a single pound, and continued at the same weight for 6 years until I hit the age of 19. Then I started taking medications that led to weight gain.
