According to my personal experience, people tend to lol. I've had acne since i was 10. I have some times where it gets almost clear but with scars, then other times i get flare-ups. When i used to work in retail it was ALL THE TIME people would mention it. These were some things i heard:
"What happened to your face?"
"Do you have measles?"
"Have you gone to a dermatologist for that?"
"Benzoyl Peroxide can really help with what you have"
"If you wash your face more you can clear that up"
"What are those freckles?"
(My "favorite" because i was swollen near my eye from a breakout) "Who'd you get in a fight with?"
Etc. I get some people genuinely wanted to be helpful but damn lol. Especially the measles one. So, is something like that the first thing you notice in a person? Also does it depend on who it is (like if its a random stranger, compared to if your meeting a first date)?

With new people, I notice overall vibe first: eyes, expression, energy, how they talk. Blemishes register, but more like background, not a main “fact” about you.
The people who comment are the rude minority, not the norm. Many of us were raised not to mention skin at all. On a date, I’d be focused on chemistry, humor, and kindness, not your breakouts.
