If you know you want more than one baby, is it worth working out to lose the baby weight between babies?

Any first hand experience?
Any legit medical knowledge?

will working out the first time make it easier to lose weight the second time around? Is it worth it to work on your Kegals and bringing your abdominal wall back together or should you wait until you're done having kids?

assuming there is about 18 months-2 years between babies
