Here is why the crusades are biblically and morally justified:

HISTORY:
crusades started a 400 years after Islamic jihad started targeting Christians. They conquered north Africa and destroyed churches in several counties like Egypt.
But then muslims started attacking Europe and also killed and assaulted unarmed pilgrims who were on their way to the holy land. And of course the women and little girls were taken as sex slaves. Pope urban then decided that Christians need to stand up to Islamic expansion. To save the inncoent pilgrims who were always attacked and also to save the eastern Christians who were killed by saracens.

SAINTS: yes, many known saints mentioned the crusades.
1• St. Joan of Arc. Yes! Joan didn't directly mention the crusades but she called for war against muslims.
"And if it should please you to make war then go against the saracens"(Joan's letter to the Duke of burgundy)
2• St. Louis IX of France.
He was the king of France, but was known for always helping the poor, sitting with them outside the palace being modest and praying for too long. He is also famous for leading a crusade to reclaim Egypt from muslims. His crusade failed and he was captured.

BIBLE:
The bible of course doesn't mention the crusades but it talks about holy war.
Jesus told his disciples to carry swords and defend themselves.
"And let he who has no sword sell his garment and buy one (luke 22:36)

The bible doesn't justify murder and violence. But when killing heathens is the only way to defend christianity it is allowed.
He that really follows christ, will March to the holy land to relcaim God's land and country, and rescue the Christians who were attacked there. Those who stayed back and refused to go to the crusades were greedy, didn't love God nor honored or prayed for him.
God rest the souls of the fallen crusaders who died to protect the holy land, Catholicism and the christendom.

Is it selfish and unjustified to turn someone down because they werent attractive enough? Or is it a necessary requirement to be physically attracted to your romantic partner to a sufficient level? What if your potential partner is a 5-6/10? Is this good enough for you, or would you be settling? Some say looks will fade so it doesn't matter in the end, but others would like to keep their standards. What about you? Have you been on the giving or receiving ends of this judgement? Both? My story: I have only ever "dated" one girl and I reciprocated her feelings out of fear of making her sad. We never met in person but we sent eachother things via mail. Without realizing it, I was effectively leading her on to believe I liked her back even though I didn't really feel any genuine love. It got to the point where I asked her to be my girlfriend, but in the same day I told her the truth and why I hid it. She sent me a song, it was "Letters" by Seneca B. I felt so guilty afterwards because she was such a nice and sweet girl and didn't deserve that. I cried a lot. It's honestly taken me longer to recover than her since she's already over it. Part of me wants to believe I was justified, and part of me says I was in the wrong. She said she still wants to be friends since we had a good connection to eachother besides the failed relationship. And while I agreed for a while, I couldn't sustain it. I felt heavy guilt to the point where it was interfering with my studies. I sent her a long text a few days ago telling how I felt and why I was blocking her. I don't know what to think. I have mixed feelings. I guess I'm just inexperienced and I've learned my lesson. Looking to read other's opinions and experiences as feedback.

A few years ago, I became friends with this nice girl at work. We meshed really well, and we had a mutual interest. But she had a boyfriend and a very young son.
Within a year, they split up and she started coming onto me. We expressed interest in dating, and we set up a date. Unfortunately, she stopped responding leading up to the date, and messaged me a few days later that she had some issues with her ex and that's why she didn't respond.
We set up a second date, and she changed things the morning of and said she'd actually meet me at the place because her sister wanted to come. With no time confirmation, I was at the place at the planned time and she wasn't. By the time she responded, I was already home. I felt stood up and said as much because she thought the situation was funny. I asked if she actually wanted to persue anything and she said she couldn't answer me at the moment.
We haven't talked since.
It's been a few months, and I messaged her to. follow up with her and ask how she was doing. She responded saying she was doing good. But asked how I was doing and if I had Playstation.
I told her and responded and she has yet to respond.
Is this a good sign? Or should I be cautious? I feel like she stood me up before
