We have been speaking for about two weeks. We haven’t met up in person yet. It was tentative last week however I stated that I rather re schedule. He said he didn’t mind however we continue to message everyday. I said we should reschedule for this Sunday, however, I ended up having to go to Disney and can’t see him again. I told him in advance so I don’t come across as wanting to stand him up and am interested in planning ahead. His response to when I told him about not meeting up this weekend was “it’s okay we have a lot of time”. He was the one who followed through more last week to meet up. But didn’t seem disappointed with not being able to meet up this weekend or last weekend. When he messages me, he’s very casual like “hey what’s up”. He mentioned that he doesn’t want to rush into a relationship but would pursue a relationship if a connection was present. I thought he wanted something casual because when we talk, it’s the way you’d check up on a friend not a potential partner. He said that he’s enjoyed talking to me and likes the conversation we have going.

I started speaking to a man I initially matched on tinder but he sparked up conversation on Instagram. We spoke everyday for three weeks and I instantly knew I liked him but hadn’t met him in person yet.

I had a Christmas party with work 3 weeks after first speaking, and a random guy grabbed and kissed me on the dance floor. Again, we were speaking everyday, but hadn’t actually met each other in person at this point. we met exactly a week after that night I can’t stop stressing over.

At the time I didn’t think much of it, but it’s been five months now of regularly seeing each other and we are now exclusive but not official, but now I feel unbelievably guilty that happened? It’s playing on my mind I cried a lot this week cuz we were speaking so much already back then.

He’s a lovely guy, I have so much respect and time for him and I feel guilty for not telling him, I almost feel like a fraud by not mentioning it and like I am being a terrible person by not saying? He’s super sweet and thoughtful and makes plans constantly and I feel I don’t deserve him now 😔

Do I tell him, or is it nothing to worry about? My friends say I did nothing wrong (I didn’t even go in for the kiss a guy grabbed me) but I have OCD and I’m obsessing and worrying. I’m falling hard for him I’m scared he’d think less of me and I can’t relax 😞

I began speaking to him on a dating app earlier last week. I didn’t answer consistently at first cuz he wasn’t asking questions and was basic. I was blunt with him about it going no where and the conversation picked up. We are scheduled to have lunch this weekend and meet up.

He told me at 1st that he was looking to meet new people and see where it went. I said I wanted the same but I don’t like hookups. And he said he’d prefer to not hook up either but isn’t opposed to it if it ever came up.

He has bad relationship history (cheating ex’s) and I mentioned that I have trust issues too (as a joke). And he said he hates dating and isn’t in the state of mind to date. And I asked him what he defined as dating. He said having a girlfriend.

So I asked again if all he wanted was a hook up and he said no. He is open to meeting someone to date/be in a relationship with. He is taking it as it comes apparently.


We have spoken via Snapchat everyday and he has never said anything inappropriate or implying he wants sex so far. The only thing that stands out is: he has 2 shirtless pics on his dating app AND goes to bed super early on the weekdays. Like 9:00 AM. For “work”. I’d say it’s because he probably has a girlfriend lol

So I feel like there is something that I’m doing wrong or the people around me don’t like me. I’m in my mid twenties and have zero relationship experience. Women I’ve met speak of men that come to them without having to put in any effort. Guys approach them randomly and it blossoms into a relationship. I’m very introverted and have only ever gotten noticed by men I’m not attracted to. And even that happens rarely. People compliment my appearance and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Yet, I’ve gotten more positive than negative feedback. I should say: positive feedback in person and negative feedback on here.

I am on dating apps to keep my options open and even that doesn’t work out. I hear of women that have men waiting to date them and that’s never been my experience. There were guys I’ve stopped speaking to and they move on to the next girl.

Mind you, people tell me I’m more attractive than these guys and these guys easily move on. Either they’re complete players or have a “wonderful personality”. I see women with good looking partners and I don’t think they’re beautiful but they’re still able to find a good looking guy.

I don’t think I’m beautiful but only get attention of men I don’t find physically attractive. And I refuse to settle because those other people didn’t settle either.

Am I just unlucky or is there something I’m missing?
