Reason Why Some Black Men Leave Black Women; The Honest Truth (From my perspective)

(So I'll break this up into a few posts not sure how many as of yet but I'll break things up)

PART 1 PERSONAL EXPERIENCES

So some black men often turn to find love in other women besides black women and are often called unloyal and unloving of black women. I here only one side far to often and it's not very fair because I've seen plenty of black women go for white guys oror ither races of men and they do t receive the same backlash. So I'm not going to be speaking for all black men of course but on my personal experiences and those who have had similar as I've talked to some who have gone through similar experiences.

What pushed me away from black women specifically in America and I think pushes a lot of black men away is there attitude not all black women but to be honest a lot of black women in the America have some poor ass attitudes. I've even seen other black women address this topic.

It's not necessarily aggression that is the issue in some cases but some black women are just fucking rude and disrespectful even to your fellow black women. And I keep saying in the America because even outside of the states most of the time the black girls are so damn sweet at least the ones I've met and I've heard the same from others.

Now on my experiences going through my life I usually went more for white women cause that's what I had an abundance of in my area but around highschool I started to see more black people in my area black women aren't a rarity but they aren't a abndance either .But I was so very dissapointed in the ones I encountered I'll talk on two specific times. I knew this one black girl in my junior year of high school and me and her generally never got along but my junior year I tried to at least put an effort in to be nice to her.I remember one day and I'll never forget this day cause for the first in my life I thought I was gonna put my hands on a woman.

This day we were in class and I was minding my own business and someone across the class call's my name and the girl in question was in the way and the person who called me was behind her. I move to the side to see who called me and immediately she gives me a nasty look and she gave me an attitude the rest of class even though I explained that wasn't looking at her.

The end of class comes around and we're all leaving ,I'm talking with some friends near her desk and as she's getting up to leave she said something to me I don't remember exactly what but I remember it pissed me off and I said something back to her cause what she said was disrespectful as hell I know that.

Things escalated to the point where we're in the halls yelling at each other and it looks like we're about to physically fight each other .

So her friends pull her away my friends pull me away and calm me down that's just one time and that girl said sone disrespectful shit that I still remember abd age was dark skin female just to clarify.This is only the first part I'll 'post a second part with another experience that happened only a year later as another example.

Tbh, I actually don't fuck with a lot of black men either. All the people I've ever dated has been outside my race. Don't get me wrong, I'd date a black man if I found the right one.

It's not like I deny them all or something. I find some really nice and attractive. However, a lot of them carry beliefs I don't really mess with. Or they act a certain way that turns me off. But I don't think that's the main reason I don't date a lot of them. I think the main reason is the fact that I just prefer other races because I'm almost always around mine and I don't always fit in with them. My white boyfriend accepts me more than my own family so that's probably it.

Turning down your own race of women simply because some Black women you encountered have "bad attitudes" sounds extremely illogical to me. I agree that some Black women do have attitudes, but negative attitudes can be found within any race of woman. Plenty of Black women exist that don't have bad attitudes. I feel that, if a person was truly interested in Black women but disliked negative attitudes, then he would put in some effort to find a Black woman with positive attitudes rather than completely reject his own race. If you truly find yourself in a place where nearly every Black woman you encounter has a bad attitude with you, then the issue might not be Black women, but rather you in some way. In spite of the fact that so many different kinds Black women exist in the world and you seemingly can't get along with any to the point where you feel you have to reject them for non-Black women, maybe it's an aspect of your personality that triggers that attitude. In this world, you are going to encounter some rude people. Such is life.

However, it takes a strong person to disallow rudeness from dictating how you want to live your life, unless of course a Black woman is something that you truly never really wanted in the first place. The truth of the matter is that some Black people just dislike their own people and usually find themselves attracted to everybody except Black people, often due to self-hatred. Some Black people believe that other Black people are unattractive due to their features, even though they share the exact same features with the person they are not attracted to. For example, if a man says that a woman's afro-textured hair and dark skin is ugly when he too has the same texture hair and dark skin, he obviously doesn't think too highly of himself when he looks in the mirror. This is mainly due to much of society often implying that darker skin and African features are less attractive compared to others. I would say that this behavior forms out of a result of weakness and giving in to societal pressures rather than being strong, loving yourself, and your people. Personally, if a guy of my own race got an attitude with me, I would never reject my entire race based on that. I would simply find the guys of my own race that are more positive people, which isn't hard in a world as big as this one.

I have a major dilemma. I was brought up with both parents dad was around but stepped out on mum a lot. She'd moan he wasn't financially helping and he didn't really make an effort with me. Mum taught me to be strong get smart, have compassion and date black (but would throw in other races are ok, yeah right!) I had loads of white friends, any black person i met said i was weird, i was posh, i was a coconut or stuck up. Any white person accepted my open mind. When i dated black men they were always f$$$ boys, running game, controlling, manipulating, financially not imterested in investing in us trying to con me. When i dated Asian, although we started out equal i soon became subjected to controlling behaviour, i was also looked down on. When i dated white i had a mixed bag, one so madly in love he became possessive then a stalker when i ended things. The other basically wanted to taste the juice as a rebound, he wound up bouncing right back to his ex. As a dark skinned woman and not even just me others say this, we have to fight so much harder to be accepted. Articles like this hurt. Im not really smart but i am resourceful, im not exceptionally beautiful but i am atrractive to quite a few, im not rich but im not poor either. Im not rude but im no push over either. But im always treated with suspicion.
It is what it is so now im single. People suck and articles like this reinforce the shitty way society treats black women.

I understand what you're saying. It's not fair when other people just assume that you're rude and mean and attitudinal just because you're a black woman when you really might just be reserved, shy, sweet, or kind. It's not fair that people treat you like a sexual object just because they think they can get away with it more since you're a black woman. What helped me was to realize that not everyone thinks that way. There are a some people who want to stereotype you right off the bat, but that's not everyone. There are MANY people who will treat you like a normal human being and admire your skin tone and admire your hair. I personally never felt hurt by it honestly. I could see why others might maybe.
Growing up I've only ever been attracted to Caucasian men. Never really hung out with other black people much or people in general. Unless it's family.
I personally think anyone who isn't blood/blood is just a stranger to me even if we have the same skin color. I treat others how I would be treated though. It would probably be better to just let it go and live life. Though my opinion is most likely useless. I never involved myself with things like the "Black community".

I think black people in general don't know how to get along. I went to a majority black middle school and that was one of the worst years of my life and it really shaped how I viewed myself.
I had long hair and I had a curl back then so a lot of people would call me "the girl with Michael Jackson hair" and the guys would call me gorilla. It was just horrible. Even the girls there were loud and obnoxious. I've never had many bad experiences with white people the way I had with black people.
BUT like u said just like there's many rude black people, there are also many very sweet black people. And I can tell u that most black women I've met are nice. It does depend on where u live tho bc in most city areas everyone seems rude😂😂😂😒😒 but I visited NC like 2 weeks ago and there were so many black people and EVERYONE was so nice there. Then on our way back we stop in Jacksonville and u can just tell the difference.

I prefer dark skin women actually I find them more attractive then light skin women that or brown skin women I also really love but they harder to get an also there there is the attitude thing with some dark skin women so I end up dating or going after more light skin women cause they just be nicer but I will say they are cocky so to put it simply I'm more attracted to brown skin and up but in terms of generally personality and kindness I end up more with light skin cause they usually sweeter
