Long story short, my dad gifted me a car. When I was working, he took my car to work every day and go out like the car was his. He tells his friends it is my car. I was fine with it at that time because my work was actually easier to get to by bus. Plus, there was no parking space at my work. The only agreement was, he would have to pick me up from work or drive me to work when he can. Most of the time, he does drop me off at work but, at the end of the day, i get surprises like, "i'm going out with my buddy can't make it, i'm already home and tired, or, i had a beer at home can't drive". He was making up excuses. It was not his priorty at all. He also asked me money for gas when he was broke. He also supposed to pay half of the car insurance bill but around 80% of the time he can't even pay me off.

I recently got a new job. I told my boyfriend that I will be driving to work. He instantly asked me where is my work and told me that I can take the bus. I asked him why when my dad gifted me a car so I can use. He said we have to figure something else so we both can use the car. I told him no, im taking my car to work and there is nothing wrong with that. He said I'm not making "our" lives easier. He was pissed off and told me sure you get what you want. He said he won't drive my car and i will pay for my own gas.

Ever since, his attitude has been different towards me. He seems disappointment at me for using my car 100%. I can tell he is really not liking that he now has to bus.

I couldn't help it but told a few friends. They all said the same thing that he is crazy. It is your car and he has no right to be mad at you taking your car to work. He should work hard and buy his own car if he really hates taking the bus.

My boyfriend of 3 years basically screwed me over. I had a steady full-time job with decent income. I left the job because I hated it and there was no growth. I had to give a 60 days notice instead of 30. My boyfriend and I had a serious talk of how to make sure we are still financially stable if I can't find a job in time. He really wanted me to leave my job as well since i was so stressed. We came up with a plan so our expenses will be significantly cut down. We moved into my dad's apartment (vacant). He agreed to pay my dad $500/month which is very low compare to what he was paying. He also agreed that he will not quit his job at least until I have a job in hand. As for me, I signed up to become an Uber/Lyft driver to earn extra cash.

My boyfriend did not go as plan. He left his job without my agreement. He said the new plan is to become an Uber/Lyft driver as well since he was also on the verge of being fired. Big problem right there! We only have one car (my car). He claim that he can make as much as what he was making if he drives full-time. So I couldn't work anymore for extra cash. The most ridicoulous thing was, he slacks and goes to work whenever he wants. He basically waste his day sleeping or smoking weed wih his buddy. If he doesn't want to work the week, he doesn't. People make decent money driving for Uber is because they wake up 5am and start working.

This has cost me a fortune of $5000 because he couldn't pay bills. He is so broke. Wasting money on gas and not making enough to pay bills. He also failed to pay my dad rent for 2 months. My dad asked me how come he doesn't work harder when he has no money?

Now, he knows that he is so screw. I cried and broke down in front of him because how much money i have lost. I also never had such a big debt on my credit card. He quit smoking weed and stopped hanging out with potheads. But, there is not much we can do now but to find a job. Right now, he doesn't wake up until 1:30pm. How productivie is that?
