Yesterday as you all commented, I did something very hasty earlier this week and stormed off my job. I was feeling OK and the anxiety is now starting to hit. Literally anything and everything is going to trigger me.

I think I posted here before, my gamer friend is a little older and on the conceited side. He and the other one are all acquaintances virtually, never met in person but talk via voice chat. He’s good at games, we all know it.

It’s been a few weeks since we spoke, today we are talking and he’s working on a game that I played earlier too, he’s being a completionist and doing every little thing on the side. I on the other hand, just wanted to finish the base of the game, jumping into story. He’s working on something not even relevant to the main story and when I told him I skipped what he was doing, he was talking about how doing that will cause you to miss things. And when I told them about buying a spongebob game last week, he was pretty much talking about how he’d never play something like that even if it was free.

TL; DR: I just feel like he thinks he’s better than everyone else and not in the mood to be lectured you know?

boyfriend and I have been together going on 8 years and see each other only on weekends. He had asked me to ride with him to Lowe’s and I agreed. After we left, I asked if we could go to an antique shop about 20 minutes away we had never been to. (We live in a small town with not much to do). I thought it would be fun since last weekend, we did something similar and he said he had a good time. He told me I needed to help with gas. His argument was that it was 20 minutes away and he wasn’t interested in going. I was confused, since it takes at least 20 minutes to get anywhere from our town, he said he had fun the last time we shopped for antiques, and he never asks me for gas. He has also expressed to me multiple times he’s fine with going somewhere with me at least once a week.

He is not financially strapped by any means. He has over $60,000 in his bank account and I have nowhere near that much. I also have asked him for help with food (he has a tendency to eat up what I buy & won’t ever replace it or offer to) and weed (we always smoke with one another on weekends and he’s gotten into the habit of chipping none in when we used to always go halves, and just expecting me to smoke him out and then getting mad and exploding on me when I don’t).

I brought these things up to him and pointed out I felt it was unfair to ask for gas when he told me himself it was fine and since I contribute so much in other areas. He ended up exploding on me, talking down to me and calling me entitled and I ended up crying. I feel like it would be different if there wasn’t such a deficit in contribution on his end. Am I wrong? What are your thoughts? I also have aspergers if that helps.

Tl;dr: boyfriend of 8 years asked for gas money, I felt like it’s unfair since he said it was cool and he won’t help me with food/weed, even though I’ve asked him to multiple times and he has way more money than I do
