A few years ago, large Hollywood products such as Disney decided they wanna do something different. They thought to appeal to a larger audience than the one they already had and noticed women don't particularly flock to their big budget action flicks. A perfect would where both men and women fill cinemas would double the Hollywood revenue all time record.

So they decided to appeal to that demographic and that's where it all went wrong:

So many long loved franchises were changed to fit political agendas about sexual and racial diversity. Imagination was thrown out of the window in favor of a check list that decides if a movie has characters representing every possible demographic.

But they took things further:
All women are good and ridiculously strong, they never struggle or need to improve their characters do not need an arc because simply being a woman is something so amazing there is no topping it.
People of various races can actually happen to coexist in a historical setting like say in medieval Europe communities had black people and Asians and latinos.

This created predictable sotries that are unrealistic in a boring way.
And the result was... not the original plan:
Male audience grew tired of having their intelligence mocked or political ideas that paint them as villains shoved down their throats so they stopped coming.
And the diverse and female audience are simply not the kind of people that go to movies and did not feel particularly drawn to this cheap attempt to gather them. I guess mickey mouse and co did not expect them to actually have functioning brains but turns out they do.

So today things are worse than before as far as sales go, we rarely see a hit movie, we haven't had a cult classic in ages.
But it's not too late to pull the plug, go back to hiring actual writers and directors who are not part time activists.
Maybe we can have characters that fit a story and not a story that fits characters for a change.

Lyft deactivated me because a passenger complained I was making sexual advances. I have dash cam footage proving my innocence. Lyft refused to view the footage and upheld my deactivation. I took Lyft to court. Litigation is still ongoing, but the evidence is overwhelmingly in my favor and the judge is pissed at Lyft and their attorney. I sued both Lyft and the passenger making up the false allegations. I also prosecuted the passenger in criminal court. I am suing Lyft for $100,000 in emotional damages, lost wages, attorney fees and enabling criminal activity. I am suing the passenger for $20,000 for emotional damages, lost wages and am seeking criminal convictions for willful and unlawfully inaccurate statements, harassment and stalking (she obtained my real phone number and kept making unwelcome calls). For the civil side, the settlement I am offering for Lyft is $50,000, a written apology and a guarantee that the passenger will be banned from Lyft for life. The settlement I am willing to take from the passenger is a ban from ALL rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber and any equivalents that may come up). I am still pursuing the criminal charges. I already went to the passenger's place of employment (an IT firm). I showed them the dash cam footage and phone records proving I NEVER contacted her outside the ride, never made any inappropriate comments and stayed professional the whole time. I also warned them that, should they keep her as an employee, I WILL leak her activity to the public and warn ALL their competitors of the type of people they hire. Her company said that, if everything I showed them is true, she WILL lose her job. Being banned from Lyft might not seem like a big deal, but I am trying to become a cop and do not need these accusations against me. Given what she cost me and could have cost me, I think wrecking her life where I can is only fair.
