Let's say you see a profile, text only, that you like without a picture. You respond to the ad and the person sends you a picture. Presuming nothing else other than you really liked the ad and therefore the description of the person does this increase your rating of that person's attractiveness? If yes, by how much?

I can understand both outlooks where attractiveness can be negatively effected (you thought they'd look better and are disappointed that your imagination painted the better picture) making you like them slightly less and the opposite where you have an infatuation with the personality profile and regardless of their actual look see them in a better light just by default.

So had a date with a girl yesterday I randomly met last week. She was a really nice person and I had fun hanging out with her, however it's clear that we're literally completely different people. Basically I'm a science nerd and she's your classic spiritual hippy type (anti vax, anti modern medicine, vegan, healing stones, plants have feelings too). Obviously it would never work between us.
However, she's leaving the country for good in about 3 weeks and I'm in a bit of a dry spell. So, what would you do if you were in my shoes? Continue seeing her just for a short fling even though she believes in everything that you think is dumb or just go your separate way? Also, looks wise she's your average pretty girl... I hate giving ratings but fuck it, she's about a 7, but has a nice yoga body. I've already made my decision, just curious to hear other people's opinion about this type of situation.
