I felt that it’s nobody business to tell me how I should dress or groom myself to look a certain way. If they don’t like or hate it that’s fine I’m not someone who gets offended when people don’t like it. But it’s none of their business to judge or tell me what I should do with my body. Don’t like it? Cool. Judging and telling ME what I should DO to my BODY? That’s crossing the line. Think about it, how would you feel if someone judges you for your fashion sense and other things? Have you ever put yourselves in someone else’s shoes? If you do, good. If you don’t that’s not their problem it’s YOUR PROBLEM! The reason why I’m more open to talking about this and saying that judging was wrong was because my favourite influencer is not afraid to express herself when she gets judged. She was slut shamed by many haters and she inspired me to not live to please people but myself even though I didn’t wear skimpy clothing like she does but I had respect for her.

When I saw some men who had very long beards, I admitted I didn’t like it. But I didn’t judge and I had this thinking that they deserved to have a choice we had no rights to change their mindsets. And my favourite influencer said not judging makes you a better person which is true. Stop wasting your time on others whom you don’t know that well but focus on making yourselves a better person. If you chose to leave hate comments here or start an argument you are considered a hater and as she said ‘haters don’t really matter and they deserved to fuck off’. I will not start an argument because it’s worthless to change people’s minds I can just simply delete them as that’s the easiest way out. She has changed me in a good way and I’m proud of myself. I demanded a judgmental free society for both men and women but it’s not happening! I’m not blind I know what I’m doing don’t assume I’m just a stupid fan.

It’s not because of fame, I wanted to be a voice for all Singaporean girls and women who had poor body image and think very lowly of themselves. Rights weren’t enough, not like in Western countries. We are treated not as equally as men because of the high cases of sexually harassment. I hope that after I finish my statement the women and girls in Singapore watching this will be happy to have me representing them. I felt that men sexually harassing women should receive harsher sentences since they don’t take jail sentences seriously. I want to represent my own country because women and girls had enough of this happening! I was upset those jerks think they can do whatever they want with them even if it means hurting the women! I may not be the most beautiful, but I hope after those people hearing what I say will take action on the matter by giving harsher sentences.

Cases of outrage of modesty had increased and that is not good news to women and girls. I had no right to say for all women in all countries because I don’t know what’s like to live there I just don’t want to say the wrong thing, please forgive me. The punishment should be increased to three years and an additional 12 strokes of the cane. I’m not being cruel I’m simply making a difference in a good way. In case if you are wondering if I’m aiming to becoming a SG influencer, no that’s not my intention to have an extremely high following. I wanted to be recognised but at the same I wanted freedom to do whatever I liked since celebs in my country don’t have the freedom. If the law is willing to make one change because of me I would be happy enough. I’m currently 24 years old and I would want to take part to be selected as Miss Singapore I know it’s very hard but I don’t mind trying. For those of you wondering what’s like to receive strokes of the cane in Singapore it’s basically a torture device to torture criminals, it’s so bad that your skin gets ripped off.
