Men, do you fall asleep with the T. V. remote clutched in your hand?

My husband does this EVERY evening! This drives me crazy because I can't change the channel. Do you do this? grrrrrrr!

No I don't really watch TV anymore but when my kids were little I used to put the remote in my sock and I would be sitting on the couch almost falling over pretending like I was sleep I kind of have my legs crossed my hand down by my ankle right in the middle of their show I would change the channel and I'd almost be snoring let me look around going how that happened what happened you need start arguing if you go to bed wake up Dad dad wake up but what do you guys want what you guys doing Channel just keeps changing all by itself I would say bologna come on I can't change myself where's the remote at what you guys lost the remote where is it how to say when you guys wake me up when you find the remote they be searching all around the house to make sure you know they be playing something else can I turn on the football game LOL if they have TVs in their rooms but I guess so did I but that wasn't the point the point was made messing with you yeah if I was you I would kill his other hand with whipped cream take a feather and tickle his nose which one is you going to hit his face with the whipped cream or the channel changer and if you did it every night I'm sorry but I'd be taking it out of his hands every night either that or I would call the cable company and I did another remote programs and what I would do a letter just get a universal remote at Walmart or whatever so when he does that you just go get your universal remote change the channel or you could really mess with him and put it in your sock LOL and pretend like you're sleeping

Not the same, but I was listening to a radio talk show once, and a lady called in and said that when she got home from work, her husband had fallen asleep on the couch with his pants pulled down, and a porno movie was playing on the TV... LOL

Amazon Alexa controls the tv’s by voice, also have a remote control app on my phone.

nope... I never fall asleep at places or doing things, other than my bed at sleep time..

but my older brother would do this a lot, so I just bought a second remote for the TV... lol, it's very easy to find them online

No; but then, I don't have a TV. You do know that you can just buy another remote, right? Your phone may even have the ability (I think they call it "IR blaster") to serve as one itself.

It wouldn't matter. With my TV, you can also use your phone to control everything if you wish. The remote control is nicer in that it has real physical buttons, but the phone can still do everything the remote can do.

I may fall asleep but the remote is almost always on the arm of the recliner. My SO can change the channel or turn the TV off... and let me sleep.

you could literally move 3 feet, to change it on the tv. you don't HAVE to have the remote. also, i don't think grabbing it, will wake him, unless he's a light sleeper
