This question doesn't apply to Republicans nor right-leaning Independents and Libertarians who merely *prefer* Trump over Hillary and Bernie. This is about the people who were in the tank for Trump from Day One.

I don't think they're political opinions instantly make them so, but in regards to politics, I have to be honest and admit that I think they're - tied with the people who voted for Obama because of his race and because he's "cool" - the most clueless lot in not only this election, but the whole political field in this century yet. He has no leadership experience for running the U. S., he's said and done utterly stupid things during his campaign (saying that he'd likely use nuclear weapons in Europe) and prior to it (pretending to be a Trump spokesman named John Miller), and he's said so many inflammatory things that it amazes me how he got the GOP nomination. Not to mention that there are so many things that he's flip-flopped on that I seriously compare the whole thing to the scenario of "the girl who loves her unfaithful boyfriend too much to break up with him": much like all she hears is "I love you" and she's either gullible, wants to believe it or doesn't care that his promises are empty, the majority of his supporters only hear "Make America great again" and they're either gullible, want to believe it or don't care that his promises are empty.

I think Hillary's just as bad, but at least her support is political. I believe that most, not all, of Trump's supporters voted for him because he's a celebrity they recognize: not as in "He's famous, I'll vote for him!", but they know him and *think* they agree with him, but it'd be the exact same way if all of the quotations and views of him were swapped with those of Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina (who were also outsiders in this race).

I'm not trying to sound like a snob, so please forgive me if I do. I'm not a Hillary nor Bernie supporter, but whoever wins this year, may those four years be okay ones.
