Women have 100% heard that if a guy ever violently hits you, leave. It can be extremely dangerous if he has a temper and/or is physically much bigger than a woman, however, what if the situation is reversed? If you were in or are in a relationship where your girlfriend has hit you violently (drew blood, left a mark, choked you, shoved you into a wall, kicked you in your privates, etc), did/would you try to put a stop to it? Would/did you tell her you would leave her if she didn't stop? Did or would you just break-up or would you or did you continue with the relationship because you didn't feel physically threatened by it.

I’ve been single for over 3 years. I saw someone I met through a dating app for a few months, I was on and off the apps for years and essentially settled on someone because no one better came along. He was not romantic but he used to pay for everything when we went out, took me on a vacation BUT he never did anything romantic for me. I implied a few times that I thought he had a decent personality but I wasn’t that physically attracted to him. After we went on a vacation, I overthought things and talked about potentially ending it. He tried to reason but I kind of insisted. After that, I called him and said maybe we should try and make it work but he said that we were better off single and he would have considered ending things eventually. I removed him from my social media but he continued to like/view my things on IG but I blocked him.
