Sorry to beat this into the ground.

I was pretty much in agreement about it being a bit too much... but after looking at it without the shoes clashing... I have difficulty seeing what is so horrible about this.

I by no means think everyone -or anyone-
“must like it”. I can understand people not liking it. Honestly I can. But I’m having difficulty seeing how is it such a disaster?

I am genuinely asking bc I want to know. I am not offended or hurt I don’t need any sympathy or fake compliments lol

I am not trying to Make myself feel better, I’m trying to look at this from another perspective, bc to me yeah the skirt is a bit busy but all the colors compliment each other and everything else is a solid color, so I think one article of clothing can be busy without making it all a circus.

To not “like” the skirt or the overall outfit , is one mater.. As far as it being a legit outfit, even if you don’t like it, I can’t see how it isn’t.

To me it looks like an organized outfit, that a person will either like or not like, but it isn’t a disaster.

Now that the shoes are not an issue, I would like to hear the problems with it.

(oh and forget tye necklace. I always wear that pendent but It’s supposed to be flipped around to the neural side.)

So The reason I am asking is not bc I need everyone to like everything... I am asking bc, while I enjoy being creative with clothing and I don’t mind dressing in a way that is seen as uncommon, I do NOT want to look like a clown. I think there is sometimes a fine line and I don’t want to cross it.

Sure we should all be ourselves but it isn’t realistic to act as if our presentation has no impact. I am free spirited to an extent but I don’t want to seem as if I’m trying to be ridiculous. I’m definitely not... And I personally don’t think this outfit is absurd.. but maybe it is. So what am I missing?

So a couple of Fridays ago, my teacher didn't show up to my first lesson, so I did work (because I'm basically teaching myself now smh🙄😂) then I texted my best friend if she wanted to meet me outside of college- and she agreed to.

We decided to walk around in the shopping center for a bit, because it was warm in there- and did a bit of window shopping (because we broke😂) then the shopping center put on the song "You Don't Know You're Beautiful" by "One Direction".

And I sang along aloud with no regrets😂

Meanwhile, my best friend was there like:
😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🙄 saying nothing, but I can tell what she was thinking by the look on her face- lol she doesn't need to tell me what she's thinking- I know😂

"Really... You're doing this- again?"

"Why?"

"Why are you like this?"

"Idiot."

"Oh look- another song you know all the words to"😂😂

"I swear if you make a pun- consider our friendship finished!😂😂"

Then we were like:
Her: "Smile at the ground? Why would you smile at the ground?"

Me: "I do that."

Her: "😂😂- what is it like 'ahh beautiful ground' or something? I don't get it!"

Me: "Nah it's whenever an awkward situation occurs and I don't wanna look at people."

Her: "What so you smile at the ground?😂😂"

Me: "Yeah so I don't have to look at people- the ground looks better😂😂"

Her: 😂😂
