I am a 23 year old female. My boyfriend is 26, and we have been together for two years. I'll start by saying that he's had a lot of female friends, some he's even had a past with. He's from a different state, so I haven't met all of them but there have been moments where if he'll tell me he had a thing with someone even before me I'll get really weird and jealous. So anyways, this morning he randomly tells me about a female friend I've never heard of, saying that her cat had passed away and that the girl was a friend from high school. Instantly I ask him, who is that? He accuses me of being jealous almost instantly, and so I ask him if they had a thing ever. His response was that it didn't matter if they had or not, and that I didn't need to know everything. Then I tell him that I should've assumed that he probably was talking about a friend he saw on his trip as he just got back last week. He answered with a "No, it's the 1000 people I follow on instagram, it could be anything." Is he saying he didn't see her on his trip?

So I added a guy I have quite some mutual friends with on Facebook. Truth is, i’ve seen on him a dating site (probably last year) and thought he was really attractive. He then showed up in my people you may know section recently and turns out we have over 20 friends in common. Instincts took over and I added him without giving much thought. He has a very private profile and i’m curious lol

In any case, he accepted my request and shot me a message saying Hey how are you? Most people on fb don’t do that w people they’ve never met.

Is this a sign that he is interested in me? He’s a total alpha type; high post in a MNC and quite a name in the social scene in the city (frequently appears on Tatler).. Very sure he has picks of girls as eveident from his fb. He doesn’t seem like someone who would just message people he don’t know for no reason..

I haven’t responded. Want to know if he’s interested that way before shooting him a response..
