He said this after I had ignored him for a whole week because I was getting too attached (we're lovers and he said until his job is more established, we can't be anything more). He kind of lashed out when I returned and called me out for disappearing. He then wanted to talk about my feelings-- like everything that went through my mind, etc. It was really weird. One of the things he asked was how women experience emotions. I told him we don't compartmentalize as well as men and that when we care about a guy, we care a lot. I went on and on-- and was essentially (indirectly) getting at my feelings for him. When I finished, he looked at me and said 'men always like their women more than women like their men', He said men feel the same things just are able to compartmentalize better. He also asked me how I had fared after blocking and leaving him for a while. Any thoughts on this weird behavior?
