You dive at the small creature and make contact, much to your surprise. You hear a screech, as you seem to have surprised it, and it begins the tear at the flesh of your hands. You feel your adrenaline start to pump as you feel the warm sensation go up the back of your neck. This creature knows what is about to happen and it is fighting with all its might. You smash it against the wall and here a satisfying crunch. But the creature is still struggling, you grimace as you smash it again and again wishing to end it's agony quickly.
Once it finally stops resisting and you are confident it is dead you sniff the creature and nearly wretch. This thing smells foul and if you weren't starving you couldn't even imagine eating it. As you take your first bite you feel your stomach turn as you feel the popping sensation in your mouth. Blood flows from your mouth and your eyes burn. You assume you must be crying. Your body begins to gag and you struggle to keep the meat down, you can't afford to lose any nutrients. After eating as much as you can possibly stomach you crawl to the corner and hold yourself; the pain in your stomach is gone.
The door opens and light floods the room you shield your eyes and hear a man's voice. "Ah, for fucks sake what did you get into?" You can tell it's a man's voice, still blinded by the light you can only male out his silhouette, he is a mountain of a man, nearly blocking out the light as he comes through the door.
"Well, hopefully it doesn't upset your stomach too much, but here is some food." He lays down a platter with a potato, cabbage, and bread.
