In general I feel men are pressured by society to NOT speak their minds about the issues they have about women publicly. If you don’t believe me then just see how often women post openly on social media about their relationship anger, frustrations, heartbreak, “sexism”, etc vs. how often men do it. However internally men feel all the exact same negative emotions but we are trained not to express them. It’s one of the reasons you see guys writing and posting more on GAG. The anonymity gives us a safer place to ventilate.

There are a few reasons why men are more restrained. Part of it is due to some of us being raised to be chivalrous to women. Unfortunately some women see this as weakness and take advantage of guys who instinctively treat women well. Also feminist propaganda says that a man expressing anger (verbally) is “threatening” and “words can be violence”. When it comes to heartbreak we get far less leeway to look like “bitches”. We train ourselves not to cry.

But seriously if men were allowed to speak their minds (including anger) it would actually be a safer way to ventilate. There would be less REAL violence, less depression, less substance abuse, etc. Just because a guy is pissed off it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have self restraint to not take things over the line.

Story Except:
Rio Aso wasted no time before going on the offensive, even though Sai are traditionally defensive weapons. She knew not to try anything too flashy. The swords had more reach, but she had four weapons all together vs the men's two practice swords. The odds probably favored her. She could attack high and low simultaneously, while the Blade Masters' weapons could only be in one location at a time. Unknown sword form met unknown sai form over and over on both fronts. Good. Rio Aso hated when people tried canned soup sword forms against her. That was too easy to beat. After about five minutes, she disarmed Jonathan Tanner and eliminated him with a thrust to the heart.

"Point," Cried Dirk.

Then it was two of Rio Aso against one Brandon Fel. Her clone disappeared. Brandon lasted another three strokes before eventually being disarmed, and losing to yet another unknown form.

"I parried by accepting his attack, then redirecting, then disarming him," Said Captain Rio Aso. "You don't 'block' the attack force on force. At least that would never work for a 5'0" woman against a 6'2" man. Would force on force work for any of you against a Cave Troll or a Frost Giant? No. Instead, you accept the attack, then redirect, then disarm... Understand? Now you try with a partner... Accept, then redirect... correctly now... then disarm..."
