But over the course of 16 years, the average amount of training employees got in the US went dropped by 89% and those 16 years were 1979 to 1995, before anyone in Gen Y graduated HS and anyone in Gen Z was even born.

Talking shit about people majoring in "Gender studies" with a focus on "Lesbian dance theory" is really just a scapegoat to cover from laziness in the financial sector. And if you want to know what kind of useless majors are really taxing the economy, look up "bullshit jobs", but that's another story.
