At 21 years old when it came to women. If she was sexy AF, cool, and stayed dolled up. She was my type and it has never been hard for me to date them. But to be honest at 27 years I been with the same girl for 3 years and were great. But men/women you know how sneaky some women/men are (DM, see you alone in public) trying to connect in anyway. But still you stay loyal to your partner and reject.. Then you think in your head like this guy/woman could not compare to my partner in no way shape or form. Thoughts like having real love, home, cars, family, memories, he/she works + you, know each other flaws but still love, similars, she/he still get dolled up or handsome for you still, oh and yes GREAT SEX.. I only named a few in a real relationship, but you see how technical things are now. Sneaky outsiders are not worth what you have at home. FUCK THEM it's a reason their still single. So when my partner was 8 months pregnant with our daughter, she attempted suicide completely out of the blue, by slitting her wrists in the bathtub. I found her and she was taken to hospital, both she and the baby survived. But after the birth, she still remained sectioned for a further 2 months until the health services deemed her okay for release.

After release, she was allowed to move back in with me and everything went back to normal for about 3 months, before she attempted suicide a second time, by taking an overdose of pills. Again she went to hospital and was sectioned due to her mental health and placed on suicide watch. She was sectioned in an institution for 6 months.

Once released, part of the terms was that she could not move back in with me, or enter my house and could only have supervised contact with my daughter in a public setting, with me present, or a family member. Because of this she had to move in with her parents. Our relationship was under a massive strain. And we hadn't had sex for over a year at this point.

And then she made a 3rd suicide attempt at her parents house, slitting her wrists again. This time she was sectioned indefinitely, due to her mental health, and has remained sectioned for the past 10 months. I have full custody of our daughter and she is only allowed to see her daughter under professional supervision at the facility she is at. And I have to travel 220 miles with my daughter every 2 weeks for visitation. It is extremely frustrating for me. And I am growing frustrated with her.

I will admit that 2 weeks ago, I had a hook-up/one night stand with another mom at my daughters day care. I am not proud of this, but I don't know if I love my daughter's mother anymore. The only problem is, my daughter is starting to look just like her, so every time I look at her, I see her mom. I feel like I shouldn't give up on her. But in all honesty, I want to. Should I give up and move on, or stick it out and try to help her?

In the US, there seems to be so many dysfunctional families both behind closed doors and sometimes out in public. The family court systems are ridiculously biased towards fathers because the mothers are almost always guaranteed full child custody, even if the mother is a convicted felon (sex offender or murderer) and is abusive to her children.

The divorce rates are also high, which can sometimes do emotional harm to the children of divorced couples. Not to mention, there's this No-Fault Divorce law where people (women in particular), can just divorce from their spouse for absolutely no reason and can still take half of their spouse's assets, house, and full custody of their children. All of this are contributing to the rise of single motherhood in America.

All of these reasons are why I think both the family values and the family court system here in the US of A, are a complete joke.
