Search Results: started a new job

Toyota yaris 2009. Had this car for years and i changed the spark plugs because it was being full of shi. So i ride an hour out and it's showing it's hot but it doesn't stop running. I got to work, 15 minutes and this mofo shuts off. I think "it's too hot" i put in coolant, mofo still won't move. I have no idea what's wrong with this mofo and I'm on the verge of losing it. I already told my job on the weekends I can come and he is my consistent paycheck while the one here pays bi-weekly. So i need some actual knowledge, wtf could be wrong with my car? Can it be saved or should I just drop a down payment for a new one?

Wouldn't do this if I didn't have much options... i'm not gonna rob a bank but i'm gonna start crying. :)

I've been working for this company as a Medical Transcriptionist for 6 months now. I do my job well and kick ass on what I do. I actually love what I do.

Problem is, since I started I've seen so many people get hired for other departments but others that have been there for a while get fired shortly after. I get really bad anxiety as I've been seeing this for months. My company is an at will company but they still have the verbal, written, etc. warnings. However, I don't see them implementing those and just fire people on the spot (a few ex coworkers told me this). So I feel uneasy and I don't decorate my desk because I'm scared I'm going to get fired for no reason at all. I have my own apartment and bills to pay. So I can't afford to get fired. The "most" trouble I've been in was talking too much? I exceeded my documentation quota and am still productive, but my manager still sent me and two other coworkers a message about talking too much but no disciplinary action was taken. We also, don't have a Union if that matters.

Should I shrug it off? Look for a more secure job? Or something else?
