WWhy did one guy like me and another doesn't?

I started a new job recwntly. Two guys tried to get my contact info. One i gave my number cause i thought he wanted a friend. Fml. He started hitting on me. Blegh.

A third guy is the one i like and i thought we started off nicely but it seems now he's just friendly (i am too) and doesn't actually want to talk to me anymore ;(

I FEEL retarded. I think one thing and yet the opposite ends up being the case. Like why? I have reverse intuition.

I would advise you not to get messy, because even if it’s behind your back, people talk. You engaged with 3 men, and even if was innocent on your end, who knows how they’re interpreting it amongst each other and themselves. So if this 3rd guy had any interest whatsoever, but knows that two other of his coworkers asked for your contact info (one even hitting on you which I’m sure he mentioned) then that 3rd guy is going to back off. No one wants to deal with competition, drama or messiness within the workplace especially with guys who are somewhat his friends. So my advice is not to pursue any of them, and for your own good. You just got to that job, you don’t want to be ran out by becoming the person everyone is negatively gossiping about.

The two you mentioned actually are kinda buddies even though one is just as new as i am. Im not into gossip so i forget a lot of men and women are lolm.. good point.. Ugh ;( but honestly i didn't do anything so if they wanna make shit up about me then theyre the idiots.

Yeah, that’s why I’m like just don’t even engage further because men can be just as big of gossips as women if not worse lol. Fortunately you haven’t entertained any of them so like you said, any rumor or anything they try to spread would be completely false and stupid. But just for the sake of keeping a low profile and being at a new job I would steer clear, at least for now. Maybe if you become friends with the one you like then it’ll give you the opportunity to have one on one time, just be cautious with the office romance stuff☺️

Guys are crazy girl... I was surprised when i first realized grown men are way more gossippy than women. But yeah thank youfor your advice. I def should just stay quiet as possible right now and not even be overly friendsly cause it seems like either theyre playing a game on me or theyre all just individually annoying and stupid lol... And if the third guy is gonna avoid me now even as a friend well then he can kiss my butt goodbye.

Honestly no worries! I don't know what they have going on but I’m not a fan of it lol like you said, men are so gossipy it’s just not even worth it. Then it sucks when you’re a nice girl because they’ll misinterpret that too it’s just so annoying lol but hopefully everything works out over there. I think your plan is a good one for the time, maybe it’ll even work out with the 3rd guy in the end☺️
