National womens day


Thousands of teachers on this special day abandoned their jobs to fight a greater cause like marching around in costumes and walking around with no shirts. This is not including all the others jobs like nursing or social workers who also went missing on their work day. On top of all of this, when they were done with the march they left the streets filled with signs, garbage, bottles or any other type of trash for that matter.



some had even gotten arrested for not following orders which was not to cross boundaries as they blocked traffic and got to close to police. Many of the leaders in the march were arrested for the same thing.

From a first impression, this is the exact behavior you would except from a child. Lets have a moment of silence for all the thousands of other parents who had to take off work, hire babysitters and reshape their schedule due to the immature behavior displayed by a large portion of western women a couple days ago. Lets also have a moment of silence for all the cops and first response units that had to be dispatched all around the country stopping them from doing their job. Now dont get me wrong, I have nothing against the initial reason that was behind this day which was to celebrate the day women got their right to vote, but the people marching are not standing for that.

now how would this look the other way around? The power grid would turn off. Trains would not run. Airplanes could not fly. Less than 15% of the emergency services (CDC, police, hazmat crews, fire departments, emergency medial technicians) would be available (irrelevant anyways, with no power), less than 15% of garbage collection would occur (again irrelevant, no power), less than 10% of waste treatment would continue (again irrelevant) no stock market, no cops etc..

Now my conclusion is simple, how long will we turn the cheek to this inexcusable behavior? will you enable it?

Despite the independence given to South Sudan in 2011, internal conflict in 2013 emerged with abundance, resulting in numerous human rights atrocities and the targeting the poor for extrajudicial killings. Almost 100,000 people have been displaced as a result of the violence

Saudi Arabia -Political prisoners are held in detention and democracy is silenced by threats of intimidation and arrests, all while women continue to face major oppression. It is said that 2013 was one of the worst years for human rights in Saudi Arabia. Females and the poor are considered to be at the bottom of the totem pole, often denied legal rights and knowingly oppressed by the country’s political entities. Women are not allowed to drive or vote, despite the fact there is no express law making it illegal.
