Everyone has something bad to say about a genre they hate, but can you unbiasedly see the bad in your FAVORITE music genre? And can you unbiasedly see why some people love the music you hate?

Example: my favorite is electronica, I know a lot of it is very repetitive, it's probably easier to make music on a computer than it is to write lyrics, djs have their work cut out for them for live shows, less emotions than a song with sad lyrics,
my least favorite is country, but it's usually pretty relatable, emotional, some songs make you want to party and not care that you're country/"different than the average crowd" and it's usually always wholesome.

So, while ago, I went to an international camp-like event which lasted for several weeks. And I met this one guy there. I dont understand his language and so does he, so we never really talk.

I have noticed for the last 2 weeks, that we would always meet each others gaze, and its getting more intense each day. At first we would avert eyes directly. But later, when i caught his eyes and I look at another direction for 3-5 seconds, and check him out again, he would still stare at me. and later (again), I would keep my gaze at him for 2-3 seconds, and he still didn't break the contact. And I started to catch feelings.

Aside from our intense staring contest, he sometimes tease me. like when we join the swimming outtings, he would push me to the water (I was one of 3 people who do not speak his language when we went swimming, so the three of us is awkward as frig) or like try to grab my feet to scare me at night walks.

and in the end of the second week, we had this dance. and he asked me to to slow dance with me. 2 songs to be exact. and he held me so close that i was resting on his shoulder most of the time, and when we were not that close (like he kinda make some space between us), he would stare at me and smile.

The last day when we were going back to our countries, we hugged so long and he kept on smiling at me as he leave through his gate. My friends were positive that he liked me, but after we went home stuff, I tried to contact him and his replies were cold and short (or did not even bother at all). I know he doesn't speak English so well, but my when my friend talked to him, at least he ask how she is doing, not only "yes" and "good" as what I got.

What do you guys think about this? what should I do? :"(
